Thank you for all your videos, I love them. I am a small flower farmer and florist and try and expand my information and knowledge constantly, instead of just keeping in a rut. I love learning tthe basics of what others are doing; ordering flowers; how to figure how much to order for certain events or number of arrangements; trends; what working tools work well; the basic structures for certain arrangements like the foam, chicken wire. Right now I am trying to learn more about funeral arrangements. I went back and watched your older videos on and was very helpful, curious how other florist decide what to make or what to use for flowers. I appreciate all that you do J, very helpful to me.

Nice and simple tips. Will you be filming something a step on from this? I’m thinking about conditioning flowers grown from bulbs eg, hyacinth, how best to manage gypsophila ( untangle straight away or after a good drink?) what to look out for( grey fuzzy stuff on stems/ bruising ) so we can get the best from the blooms.

J * interesting - I don’t see why not. I think we would like all the videos to act as a resource for people at all levels. We are all learning, so maybe it would be good to get everyone’s ideas as well and we will pull them together.

Great! Thanks for the tips. I’ve struggled to use a knife but it helped to see how you held and used it. Watching the video set off queries in my head about conditioning. Hopefully, others will chip in with suggestions too.

I noticed that when i buy flowers from the store then bring them home and put them in a vase with water and flower food , after i cut the stems in an angel that after a few days the stems turn brown. I dont know what i am doing wrong.

But are the flowers still good? It could be the effect of the flower food or just the flowers maturing. 🤔
