My biggest wish is that my child one day will grow up with a father that loved them as much as my mother loved me.
I’m not gonna lie this one turned out into a bit more of a yap about my worries rather than having a clear message behind it, hopefully you find it calming and helpful none the less :)

I’m not religious in any way but I basically live by this prayer, also it showed up in a show I like so it reminded my how logical and helpful it is to keep in mind.

Honestly man we have a lot in common, I have most of the same problems that you've been talking about. I just feel so lost and that I'm losing control over everything. I'm glad this video came on my feed because it helped me achieve some perspective.

i could be wrong, but i think you'll feel acomplishment and happiness combined for a temporary period and then most likely go back to a state of peace :)

3:05 wtf is up with stepdad's being jerks, my stepdad was the same. He was some emotionally stunted manchild. Guessing my mom was really desperate for a walking saxtoy with a wallet, since she decided to marry him. Same story that you had, my stepdad also never showed any appreciation, at least outside of a short time when he took me to a club for shooting airguns (I quite liked that). It was like he was trying to use that to get on my mom's good side, not that she cared that much either.
