Sovereign: Fall of Wormwood is an expandable card game where each player controls a burgeoning far-future civilization at the brink of war. You will build an empire from the ground up, managing civilians and military units, along with facilities unique to your faction's way of life. You mentioned Deck-Building. What is the deck building aspect? Everything you've talked about is deck construction (whether pre-constructed of out of self constructed).

there's light deck building, if you are bored with faction decks. You can choose faction leader and add 15 cards from his deck and 15 cards from other factions (but you can only add one copy of a card)

@iphatbass that's still deck construction, not deck building. Deck Building is building the deck ad you play. Deck construction is making the deck before the game starts.

@@octaviustyree8899 yeah, you're right, I used wrong word, but I think that you understood me what I wanted to say :D Yeah, no deck building during gameplay, but you can customize deck before playing.

I try to navigate board games (and life) without getting too hung up on definitions. 😅 We certainly try to do our best, but I've found that one person's "worker placement" is another person's "action selection". At the end of the day, I just hope people understand what we're trying to communicate for the most part. 😁

Is it everything you need to play for up to 4 players or is it FFGs definition of 1-4 players where you have to buy a second core box?

In the core box you will get 6 complete faction decks, so you don't need to buy 2 core boxes if you want to play with 4 players. When you want to play 4 player game, each of you will just take one of those preconstructed decks and you are ready to go!
