You do great with your hair. What I do when I want some curl is when my hair is still damp I twist it around in one of those clips with the teeth. Up on top of my head for volume, then when I take it down it's curled and has body. Talk about lazy, I'm no good with hair. You do a wonderful job Sheri, like you walked out of a salon.
I do that sometimes too. Or just wrap in a loose bun on top of my head. I've been doing sock curls too and sleeping in those. I started putting the socks down the back of my head though since I'm a side sleeper and don't want to feel a blob of hair between my head and pillow when I'm sleeping. Works pretty good and no heat damage.
@@GracefulBeautyWithSheri That's a great idea. I recently listened to a dermatologist on youtube saying don't go to bed with wet hair because it is weak when wet and can break off. I've done that so many times I'm ashamed to say.
It really surprised me how well it works. And I can't get over how it seems to add moisture back into my hair vs how a flat iron seems to dry it out. It's pretty nifty and great especially for people who don't know how to do a blowout or don't like those blow dryer all in one brushes. 💜
Thank you for the tip!! ❤️ Very cool! I recently heard of a hair “steamer” that does this too!! 😮 It actually smooths the hair by adding moisture back in, and it works super fast. I saw Grayawhile recently demonstrate it in one of her shorts. I’m late 40s and have decided to defy the beauty standards and rock my gray so I’ve been watching all the silver sister channels!! Hehe! 🥰
I believe I had it set to 350 degrees but it goes up to I think 450 (which I never use that high of heat.) I suppose if I turned it up to 400, it would look even more sleek but since I like to quickly put a few loose curls in with my curling iron afterwards, I try to minimize how much heat I'm using.
Most heat tools take longer to straighten hair so at least with this, you minimize the amount of heat on the hair. Not sure of a way to get sleek, smooth hair without heat. Wouldn't that be nice. 💜

Oh that sounds neat. I'll check that out. Thanks for sharing.
Hi Sheri! Your hair looks amazing! What heat temperature did you use to straighten?

@@GracefulBeautyWithSheri350 seemed to work fine. Thanks for letting me know ❤
I was hoping it wasn't a heat tool.. 🙂
