Man. I've been producing for a few years now and even though a lot of my stuff sounds good. You made me realize I've been putting way too much reverb on my vocals. I realized today that reverb to put something back in the mix and you won't actually get any depth if you just put reverb on everything because then there's nothing upfront. 😅 Then i went and listened to my pop/vocal references and there they were DRY (mostly) 🤦♂ Really great content man, keep up the good work 🙌
So, doing this for almost 20 years and just today I learned that there is an order on the applied plug ins like delay and reverb. Like if delay is on top you kinda here the effect first and so on. Or did I get that wrong?
