When IFVs reach that elite status, they get the craziest boost in firepower out of any other unit in the game. Multiplayer games get interesting real fast if an allied player manages to get one because the elite IFV quickly becomes the most *ANNOYING* harassment unit capable of plowing buildings over then running away with that quick speed of its.
And the funny thing is: Elite IFV is even stronger on the base RA2 game, compared to YR.
also normal veteran IFV is stronger than mounted veteran IFV

I’m quite surprised an elite Rhino could destroy a stock Apocalypse. And how close the elite Grizzly came.
The Rhino has more armor and a little more firepower than a Grizzly, so if an elite Grizzly came extremely close an elite Rhino can get the job done.
Not to mention incredibly speedy

I wonder how well the Grizzly Battle Tank stood up against the good old Apo Tank. Definitely, the elite's attack speed bonus is OP. :)
I'm really getting the feeling that the requisite accompaniment for the Apocalypse Tanks is not more tanks, perhaps they just need to be reinforced by Flack Troopers, and Tesla Troopers, or Flack Tracks and Tesla Troopers; as Flack is a great anti-infantry, and the Apocalypse Tank and Tesla Troopers are great against vehicles and structures.
Usually if pro players build apoc it usually with a few flak trucks and lots of dogs (dogs eat up cannon fire and take out infantry and are fast enough to keep up). Usually though, you'll find that most players just stick with rhino.

@@nathanx.675 Teching up means you spent money on something other than rhinos. No point in teching up if you lose the tank war and get steamrolled.

If you scale up the number of prism tanks and apocalypse tanks then at a certain point it'll switch in the favour of the prisms due to the chain effect.
Also in large numbers phantom tanks will be impossible to manually click and these things are suddenly very nasty.
I think even 1 prism tank could destroy it, since prism is really good at kiting the enemy
The Prism tank is way to overpowered for being basically an artillery unit that's meant primarily to annihilate base defenses (which it does).
@@JAnx01 It's really bad against units, especially apocalypse where it's basically doing nothing. I had a battle against my friend with about 50 Prisms vs 50 Apocalypses and he came out with 30 vet 3 Apocalypses. ofc it's so laggy that I can't really kite but even if I could I might run out of map since the damage is that low. If somehow you end up in a mega late game like this imo the best way is mass Phantom paired with a few Prisms, Phantom tanks are extremely OP in large engagements.

Very nice improvement! I always skip those seconds when you selecting the units but sometimes it just jump for too much. But now you speeding up them making your vedio more efficient 😊
Always said rhino tanks were underestimated by many people those little fellas can really ruin your day
They were notorious for rush tactics (particularly against Allied players) because they were very cost effective units available early on.

Rhinos are OP in human vs human games as is the soviet war miner.
But allies are OP vs the AI with spies, spy sat and better late game weapons.
Rhino Tank was among the most nerfed unit in RTS history.
They got that title for a reason.
Been playing this game since 2007 and i just found out that war miners get a cannon when fully promoted
1. Technically the floating disc is a plane not tank.
2. First time I've ever seen one take out armoured vehicle but probably cause its elite, normally they don't get the chance to be elite.

That prism tank can make short work of structures though. It's real nasty when they come in groups.
Groups of elite prisms defeat groups of every other ground unit in the game, including elite apocalypse tanks. Yuri's revenge Magnetrons are perhaps the only exception because they have an OP range.
Apocalypse have strong armor, not easy to break. Awesome video!

Tried BATTLE FORTRES and put soldier and special on it, it's a great offence and deffence.
The soldier can be put in at battle fortreas ordinary soldier, sniper and anti air offence.
Maybe you wanna tried this formation :
1. Line one with four BATTLE FORTRES
2. Line two with two prisma tank and two engineering as maintenance in the middle.
3. Line three two battlefortess and two prisma tank.
This is the THE FORMATION for OFFENCE and DEFFENCE againt ARMY and FLYING.

For anyone pointing out that he didn't test vs Lasher tank, the Lasher has the same stats as the Grizzly and would have the same result.

Although it's mostly a niche unit, an elite armor division of TDs can lay waste to most of the Soviets' armor. Too bad they suck so much against infantry and structures, but this is where the Prism tank shines and comolements their weakness.

Prism and mirage combo could easily defeat apocalypse, especially that allies have a spy satellite
The mirage tanks are good in a group and hidden naturally. Two sgt ifvs can put down most targets including buildings.
depends upon what map they're on. It gets pretty easy to spot a bunch of out of place trees XD
i would like to see it vs allied fortified infantry unit those guys always was so amazing.

Would the outcome change much by adding unit to the IFV? (its been a while since I have played this game, hoping for a remake)
Chrono Legionaire (IFV) would autowin in most stock 1v1s. Maybe Yuri Prime outranges it.
Other units might make the IFV weaker overall except legionnaire. Elite stock IFV missiles become disproportionately fatal.

Yeah, 1 v 1, apo can put a punch...however in a group, prism would say something about it, mirage tank too...they might be soft but they can throw a punch plus with their "mirage" ability they can confuse the apo for a bit

The Prisma Tank has great range and speed. He can attack and move away and then attack again without taking damage from this tank.
