Thanks for the vid, Frodan! Yone has by far been my weakest comp so far, and this video has helped clear a lot of stuff. It seems so obvious in hindsight, but prioritizing 4 reaper over vertical-umbral is something that I didn't even consider. Cheers :))
I just had the biggest highroll Heavenly Yone game of my life 😂 had 6 heavenly (5+spat) at 2-7, rolled Yone at 3-1 and got 4 lesser duplicators from Loot Subscription + raptors. 3 starred at 3-6 and coasted to a 91 hp win lmaoooo.
Idk what it is with the new shop odds but you can miss Yone 3 uncontested on 7 even with 70+ gold sometimes (obviously happens with other reroll too but I’ve noticed most on Yone)
You can not hit one single Yone uncontested with that level and gold easily. If you don’t get Cain 2 either, your game is over. Not to mention when he chooses enemy in range there is a chance that he never jumps to the main carry.
Yone is so cursed, i always lose 50/50 with his dash to backline and he is stuck in frontline forever. This is more like a tempo build, not for a late game.
Yone dashes to the furthest target withing 3 hex, he wont dash to backline unless there is a unit in 3rd line, or Yone walks from the side and is within range, he pretty much has to walk past the middle line
Fun fact: runaan on Yone can help him kills 2 squishies as well as proc the true dmg dot of 4 reaper. I cheese out some wins at 4th with this when I had a bad start.
3-Star Yone has been falling into my lap a lot lately. Like I won’t even be rolling for it, but if I just grab every one that shows in shop, I usually end up with 3-Star without trying.
same, i think he's one of the most unnoticed-if not the most unnoticed 3-cost champ because of the meta right now. tristana, volibear, tahm kench, and thresh are stars of the most sought out verticals in the game, so it figures.
To some people mastery *is* the fun. I forgot who exactly coined the "Honers vs Innovators", but yea. Innovators have fun trying new stuff and finding what works. Honers have fun by taking what the Innovators discover and pushing it to the limit.
Because they felt comfortable with that comp, and always confident that it'll reach top 4. At least they're better than the meta abusers that always FOMO with the current meta, OTP while the meta lasts, and don't care if it's heavily contested or not.
Its literally impossible to spam one comp because u will not rank up, u need 4 comps at least simply for the varierty of situations the lobby will give u, u need to both hone ur fav comps and being able to smoothly adapt to be at least in master ranks. Just get good
i swear you all just lie about the meta because i play the correct meta well and highroll all game and still lose to some boring mythic player who lowroles all game

@@rickwoods5274 shut up, im told to play bard kaisa reroll and i play it and hit kaisa 2 star on stage 2 krugs on a LOW tempo lobby and winstreak all they way to stage 5 and still lose to a lowrolling loser who plays the boring mythic comp who doesnt hit his lilia 2 star till stage 4

Yea the main strength of Yone is his incredible strength in the early-mid game. You might not get 1st often but 2/3 is common
