Texas is known for making everything difficult for people. And putting people through hardship’s just to get the help there quick to come after you if you owe them but slow in giving you help.

Does the more than two years apply to non-us citizens? My driver's license expired for a year now, I was required to bring an eye test result and the COVID stay at home continues. I was sick through this period and was unable to visit DMV.
I had A Texas DL,while I used to live in Dallas,TX,recently moved to Charlotte,NC after living outside the US, for 24 years,I lost my Texas DL while I was abroad,and I do not remember my Drivres License Number,however,I am a US CITIZEN,and I also have Social Security card. Is there anyway I can get my Drivers License Number??

So I from Texas, but living in Asia for almost 4 years. My licence expired almost 3 years ago. But the problem now is, I don't plan on going back to the US anytime soon. Am I required myself to go to a drivers licence office?
I know how you feel one thing the USA has is they require so many rules to live there there's no freedom like they say they treat you like criminals if you don't follow the rules they will treat you like crap that's a fact and now with the new president the rules are even more bad if you are from Asia stay there like I always say those who are born you'll see all types of cruel things don't make no more babies they will see all types of cruel things there's definitely no freedom here in the USA I got sick cause of a family death and now I have panic attacks I can't go renew my license I can't even go to work cause of this terrible panic attacks plus I have nasal polyps I rather didn't want to be born to suffer this way this is no life the way I'm living smh may God heal me so I can go to work and take the driver's test all over I don't care I can take it anytime the thing is when will I be heal to be able to do the things I used to do 😩🙏
we're screwed, you have to prove residency showing so kindo of lease and totally start over taking a driving and written test and make an appointment that will take 2 months to get in and pay a load of fees.

I dont stay in texas i stay in Chicago but i couldn't go renew my driver's license in 2 years due to my nasal polyps and anxiety and depression what to do when i get better and want to have a new driver's license do I need to apply for a new one? You can't do nothing not even a doctor can help u I'm barely getting Better cause I'm drinking chamimolle tea and lavender essential oil if it wasn't for that i probably had my problem more also my panic attacks were high at night I would wake up at 2am with a chest pain but it wasn't no pain it was panic attacks that went away now i only have nasal polyps im trying to cure it the natural way... Just a suggestion why not have people get a driver's license online i mean renew you can take our pictures from a computer and we are good to go just saying

I am eligible for a tx drivers license after a 2 year suspension,however in not allowed to renew online and of course all offices are closed how can I obtain a licencse online

Can u not get a temporary one? I'm in the same boat. Mine was just reinstated after more than 2 years. So I have to take a written drivers test? Or like with someone in the car with me?

I've been living overseas for 18 years, my Texas Drivers License expired March 2024, why does Texas make it so difficult to get a new License now that I am returning to live in Dallas, this is total insanity the government is no longer here to serve us they are out of control. I should be able to show my old License and passport and get reinstated immediately! How am I going to be able to live with no family no car and no way to even go to the doctor or buy groceries. The US is treating illegal aliens better than expats returning to thier home country what a BS this is.
