I completely forgot about collide! Shit! This thing is literally epic!
This is Skillet's best album. Their sound at the time was 100% unique with their blend of techno and rock. I know that's probably an unpopular opinion but I don't care!
Man, Korey is killing those vocals, and that keyboard. Go Korey!
Arguably my favorite parts of the song is her vocals. She rocks!
John looked really cool with that hair...dude everything was better at 2001 music, the way people were dressing.....everything
You're really amazin.
Definitely you're right
Everything everything 9/11
Nobody wants to talk about how he sounds like Gerard Way when he says anything ending with O
Love the bass in this song!
This was my favorite music video when I was a kid. It's still one of my favorite songs. Thanks for keeping this video alive.

Facts
EXCELENTE CANCIÓN
Seeing this band perform live for the first time, and watching them perform this song in particular when i saw them again a week later, set a lot in motion for my young thirteen year old self.
Probably.....THE BEST SONG I'VE EVER HEARD!
Despite this video, Alien Youth is one of the most underrated albums of all time.
Sanders2107 exactly. I'd say that every album before Collide it's underrated.
Look at Lori go man
Kinda Not Emo Lori was a better drummer than Jen anyway.
Flying V agreed. I prefer the Lori style sm! But I respect all formations and all musicians
2:20 when you want a candy bar but your parents tell you no
Thank you for re-upload.
John looks so young in this video. Course for me this was where it all started and where I started listening to them. Been a pan head ever since!
I found these older songs more unique than on Comatose and Awake but those songs are also crazy catchy and some are totally epic rock sound which is awesome, which some of these old songs weren't. But Rise gets a little more unique again like these older albums. Plus, I like how they also brought back some of the electronic sound. What I'm most concerned with is the lack of God's name in so many Christian Rock bands now. I know they're trying to appeal to more people, but with a lot of atheists, the messages go right past their heads because the lyrics are so vague. Plus, the music doesn't feel as powerful or impact your soul as much, when you avoid God's name in my opinion.
+Talon Diwisch The song can be powerful with or without God's mention in it, you can interpretate the song at your own way and still be powerful. Just because you don't mention a deity the song is less powerful than it was supposed to be. Yes, I'm an atheist and yes, Skillet songs are powerful to me.
By the way, it's THEIR heads, not there.
+Fackunator I never said they weren't powerful to atheists. Just not as much, since a lot of them, (I'm not saying you specifically) either change/twist the meanings of the songs or they don't understand them. I'm not trying to be rude. It's just the truth. Plus, I listen to other Christian artists/bands who mention God's/Jesus' name directly or are more specific/biblical in their lyrics and the songs always impact me more. But that's just me. It may be just 'cause some songs are easier to understand than others.
Talon Diwisch Skillet songs have something unique that (probably) other Christians band's songs don't; Skillet make the songs in a way that you can interpretate the message at your way, or give it your own meaning. For example: Alien Youth basically slaps Jesus' name in your face at the beggining, but after that I interpretate the song as the ''story'' (well, not really a story but you get my point) of a generation that's so different of what we have today that it's like an alien youth to the rest of the people. You get my point?
+Fackunator I understand what you're saying but the song is about Christians being "aliens" because most people shon us, make fun of us, criticize us, etc. And "taking over the world" is telling the good news/gospel and the love he has for the world. Why try to change the meaning of a Christian song when atheists literally have thousands and thousands and thousands of secular songs? We're already very much in the minority, and by people changing the meaning of already Christian songs, it makes us even more in the minority. You guys should be thankful of all the music you have compared to Christians.
+Talon Diwisch I know the real meaning but I never said I changed it, I said that I understood the meaning at my own way (a generation which the rest of the world look like aliens). I never said the song should be interpretated that way, people can understand the meaning at their own way. And don't complain about you guys being in ''minority'' because music is made for everyone to enjoy, without pointing out or dividing us in ethnical groups. Yes, there are songs about Jesus, Allah, whatever rastafaris and jews believe in, and there are songs about death and mass murder and the holocaust, but like I listen and enjoy not Christian, but religion related music, you could (and should) enjoy, for example, AC/DC or Metallica or Tenacious D. And yes, us (I include myself) make fun of you, criticize you, etc. But not only Christians, but every religion. Besides, I bet you too have criticized not atheism, but (for example) the muslim. Yes, it's a religion that tends to make auto-sacrifices in order to achieve the paradise. So what? Don't relate it to terrorism for f*cks sake. I have jewish and christian friends and I ALWAYS joke about their religions and they joke about my non-belief, it's about perspective. Like, if you watch Family Guy and they toss a Christian joke you should laugh about it, not feel bullied or something. That's where I'm getting at, don't feel less because people might joke about your religion, you shouldn't even care about it. Damn, you should laugh too!
industrial rock
