I honestly think that this is the best skillet song ever. They made this song their own and kept the happy upbeat feeling alive. Some may not like the style and that's ok but skillet respected the song wile adding their flare to it.
Not only do I wish that (ESPECIALLY considering that the Deluxe Edition of Collide only had 1 song as a bonus track- "Open Wounds"), I also wish that this song was on iTunes so I could buy it seperately!
Reminds me of the time I went to my friend's house and watched the Canelo vs Saunders fight. His Mexican aunt basically scolded us because she had proudly stood and sang along to the Mexican national anthem, but we just sat there during the US national Anthem.
I'm an old metalhead. I'd given up finding good Christian music. My kids grew up watching Veggie Tales. We saw a couple of Veggie CDs at the library. One was a silly songs collection. The other was Veggie Rocks. I heard this song and had a new favorite band. Seen them a few times, bought their CDs. Yeah... Good times.
What happened to this song? it was on my spotify liked playlist then it disappeared one day then as i got back into rock and was listening to skillet i remembered this song and realized it was gone i never deleted and theres not official recording anywhere anymore does anyone know what happened
Incase you never got a clear answer spotify doesn't always own permanent licenses to music, their contract with the copyright owners expired and it wasn't renewed, which honestly is a shame this whole album is a banger
Its rock songs for album "Veggie Rocks" Which is album for Rock music Skillet is not Heavy Metal Also Veggie Tales And Skillet have one thing common. They are Connected with Christianity(Veggie Tales being Christian Cartoon and Skillet is Christian Band)
I think might be your headphones mate, this sounds good to me... a bit of distortion is normal on these kinda songs especially seeing this was form early 2000's
@@talondiwisch5206sounds a bit muffled, singers voice isn't clear. I do like the song, I'm just saying each instrument isn't clearly defined, there's some extra noise in there. Good song still

I love jeus!
They turned the finale song from Rack, Shack & Benny into a song you'd hear in a SmackDown vs Raw game. I'm honestly kinda glad I discovered this.

Ironic as skillet has plated for wrestling before.
Who wishes this was on the Collide album as a bonus track?

And "Smile Again"
Yas
I mean technically Collide never got a proper Deluxe Edition, just a rerelease for the mainstream market with one new single.

What an awesome cover. This takes me way back. They honor the song, and yet make it Skillet.
I loved this b4 I knew what skillet was. b4 I knew they were and always will be the best band ever.

Idk I've never even heard this song until I saw someone talking about it in the comments section of Fingernails
I think it got taken down from Spotify for probably copyright reasons, I'm not sure.
Yeah the whole album got taken down besides in the belly of the whale I don't know why they took it down

Rack, Shack and Benny
Well, it seems like the lead singer of the band isn’t a fan of the creator of VeggieTales and has been outspoken about him. Yikes 😬
This is a kid's show! Why is there heavy metal in Veggie Tales?!

Great song, but really poorly produced, unfortunately. If only I could get a hold of those stems...
Keep the punk spirit alive. Leave fuzzy, poor recordings.
This video in particular is pretty low quality. The official release sounded a lot better

This is sick! You’re nuts.

Good is what it is, albeit not so well produced, but overall good.
