I am greatful that theres a place to look at this stuff. Just getting into leather craft work. So these how too videos are helping me along with basic knowledge.
Would you have any suggestions sir, as to how to go about installing snaps in braided elastic straps, specifically to give some sort of stability so that the shaft will remain straight up and down rather than bending?
I just love your channel. It is a joy to just listen to your voice explaining every step of the way .... Wished you were my relative so I could hang in your work shop looking at you working ...
Hello, I have a snap on a Randall Made Knife Sheath with a 'Branded' Button, that is no longer available. It sits just a tiny bit loose when snapped closed. Is there a way to 'tighten' it up just a bit? Please advise....
I have trouble putting in the socket and stud. Every time I pound them in to eyelet and cap, it doesn't work. Help please? Soon, would be greatly appreciated.
Id like to take a moment and let you know I appreciate the time you took to make a quality and well explaind video. Thank you.
Thank you very much for this. I'm brand new to leatherworking, and I found this very helpful.

I havent had much luck with this - it ends up buckling the middle part to one side when I use the punch
It can take some practice. Two important things to remember are to hit is straight on and make sure that the posts aren't too long.
Thank You again George.
