Would you have any suggestions sir, as to how to go about installing snaps in braided elastic straps, specifically to give some sort of stability so that the shaft will remain straight up and down rather than bending?

Hello, I have a snap on a Randall Made Knife Sheath with a 'Branded' Button, that is no longer available. It sits just a tiny bit loose when snapped closed. Is there a way to 'tighten' it up just a bit? Please advise....

It can take some practice. Two important things to remember are to hit is straight on and make sure that the posts aren't too long.
