I’m saying this because I love you and I think you’re great… You lose me when you sing in English. Everything else about your performance is mind blowing, but once you start singing in English I stop the music. Another group I love Papadosio does the same thing-the instrumental music is beautiful-but then sometimes he sings and you just wish he wouldn’t. And you get the sense that either he doesn’t care that he doesn’t sing well, or he doesn’t have anyone around him willing to tell him it doesn’t sound good and detracts from the overall quality of the performance. Your BGT audition is one of the best performances I’ve ever seen. I wish more of your performances on RUclips were in that general style of beatboxing with some classical singing mixed in (beats antique style) that’s when you’re at your best.

When he sings he could use some guidance enunciating more effectively so that you can bettter understand his lyrics. However, I really meant that the style of singing when he sings in English doesn't sound that great. He sounds good in operatic styles. There are plenty of amazing opera singers that would get booed from a karaoke bar if they tried to sing a rock ballad or a pop song because their voice just isn't suited to that style. I'm not saying he's a terrible singer. Just that he's a top notch Rockstar beatboxer, but he's not a top notch rockstar singer. I don't know if he sounds better in other languages. I think his songs where he's primarily singing are nowhere near on the same level artistically as when he's primarily beatboxing and detract from his performances. I shared his BGT audition with a house of musicians and we decided to look him up on RUclips. We uninamously decided to give up on finding more content because most of what is out there only isn't in the same style and has too much singing. If I'm in the 5% of people who feel this way about this dude then great. I think consructive feedback is important and I love it when people offer it. I think when you become too famous people around you stop sharing anything but positive feedback. That makes it challenging to grow as an artist and learn where you can fine tune your art. If he's having fun at the end of the day--that's all that really matters. It surely looks like he is.
