My dude seriously you must be the happiest producer/composer etc, alive.. Every time i watch your videos you make me want to open cubase and write a new song! So glad there are people actually love their job so much👊
Hahahah thanks my man! Whatever makes my life easier or makes me achieve new sounds not possible before really makes me happy indeed :) Music industry is not an easy place to be so enjoying every bit of it is mandatory in my opinion 🤟🏼
Well articulated! Agree exactly... Dom has a knack of making you want to get out of your usual zone and just go play and experiment - such infectious enthusiasm!
This was very very eye opening. I bet many users didn’t realise how essential and deep this plugin is. Best cubase hang out on RUclips. And don’t think we haven’t noticed the upgrade in editing and all round video quality. Steinberg are lucky to have you bruv. They’d better be paying you some moola.
Every time i watch your tutorials you make me smile; that's an extra talent you have... making people want to be your friend. Such a funny disarming dude. Thanks for helping out an pretty old rocker so many times!
This video alone made me decide to upgrade to 11 from 10.5 today. I was debating if I should or shouldn't get it but now that I've seen what it can do, I'm sold! Thanks for the awesome presentation Dom!
The more im playing with sqausher and frequency v2 its now become my goto plugins. Especially squasher the way it just opens up a mix and enhances on details love it
As ever, great content, presented in an engaging and entertaining fashion, and with production quality that would put lots of mainstream TV to shame..... Top-notch stuff Dom.
Cubase owe you dollars. I upgraded from elements to 11 pro because of you. I still barely scratch the surface and you work quickly. One thing I would ask, is there a space echo equivalent. I have replika xt but don't want to buy one if there's one already that is undiscovered. Ideally want to emulate the bionic woman sounds.
Have you ever noticed that the output on each band is set to +6Db as a default? Definitely plays a part in the perceived loudness and effect of sounding better
Ott is due for a new album soon. His music is like this video's lesson with amazing arrangement and obnoxiously precise mixing. I never understand how his sound is so detailed and his mix so morphic in every single moment.... But now I get it just a little bit better. Thanks Dom!
Dear Dom Sigalas I am so envious of people with good skin like you. music genius May I know what food you eat every day? If I eat the same food, like you I hope my skin will get better. answer Please.
Great stuff Dom as always. I am still on Cubase Pro 10.5, I really think it is time now that I upgraded to Cubase 11! Keep these fantastic videos coming. Cheers.
You always produce informative vidoes making me happier everytime you upoload one, Sigalas. Continue doing great work. If you wont mind, kindly make a video on how to create group effects or you give me the link if u have one
Im thinking about upgrade from 9.5 to 11 but I wonder how about system performance. On my i7 in my laptop i do have some performance issues so prabably i would have even more after the migration? Anybody here any experience?
You may actually get improved performance as 10 introduced a lot of improvements with ASIO guard and VST3 management. Just remember you are moving to 100% 64bit plugins so make sure all your essential plugins support this
I imagine you will have performance issues. I use an i9700H 3.0GHz that overclocks to 4.7 with 32 Gb ram + 32 Gb of OLE ram to a 1TB SSD and if you have a lot of plugins running on 30 or so tracks with a couple instances of Squasher that brings the machine to its knees.
Is it possible to create cinematic ensembles in Cubase. I want to play say 4 samples from 4 different libraries at the same time on one key of the keyboard. Yes, I know you can highlight 4 or 5 tracks and do it like that, but I want to be able to create multiple ensembles with multiple libraries and have them in a template so I don't have to highlight tracks to do this. Is this possible and could you do a video to explain how this can be done?
They need to make it so instead of the default EQ you can make squasher for example the default for workflow. I feel like Abletons or FL studios workflow setup is much nicer. Although cubase has some really nice features (Also: is there a way to incorporate more colors to the track color scheme?)
@@timbeneton8068I see, I thought you meant stock plugins in this case- these are both paid plugins :) By the watch out for this linear phase in your low end. I would double check it doesn’t introduce pre-ringing. It can cause more harm than good- linear phase isn’t panacea 🤘🏼
@ for low end it can be switch off, or can be used mix mode ( both minimal and linear phase at the same time : aka Kirchoff EQ) I just mean that Steinberg using resources not in the right direction with thise plugins. There are tons of free top quality plugins right now. Workflow and DAW features is the way to go in my opinion 🙂
@ I see where you’re coming from - these truth is - they are still stock plugins- Cubase is a humongous program that has so many aspects to be updated. I bet 99% of the users won’t even know the difference and Squasher sounds awesome anyway. I’ve never missed linear phase to be honest. If they can give us modulators and shimmer I’d rather see them spend their resources there. But yes it would be nice if there were infinite resources 👍
My dude seriously you must be the happiest producer/composer etc, alive.. Every time i watch your videos you make me want to open cubase and write a new song! So glad there are people actually love their job so much👊
That’s true I love his attitude :) he is perfect presales engineer :)
Hahahah thanks my man! Whatever makes my life easier or makes me achieve new sounds not possible before really makes me happy indeed :) Music industry is not an easy place to be so enjoying every bit of it is mandatory in my opinion 🤟🏼
Georgios... yep, agreed... he's got a magic attitude !
Well articulated! Agree exactly... Dom has a knack of making you want to get out of your usual zone and just go play and experiment - such infectious enthusiasm!
Same way.....
I don't know what I like better: the plug in you're talking about, or the funny face whiggles you are performing while switching bypass... lol

I'm really loving Squasher more and more! Steinberg continues to make me a happy musician!
I rarely go WOW when seeing plugin vids, but this is WOW, bigtime! Thanks :)

Great video! Bought Nuendo 11, still haven't got the time to explore Squasher that much. This video teased me to do so!

Hahaha, I really like your hand and face action when active and bypass the plugin Hahahah Thanks a lot for all your videos.
Hahaha it was so funny watching it back :)
Thanks for the video, very interesting the part 4 more for me (cause i would know how to energize my voice with squasher) ✌
Squasher es maravilloso!
Could you do a tutorial on the new stereo widening plugin and what would be better to use mid side or a stereo widening plugin, when you got time 👍🏾
Good stuff! Is the Squasher a replacement for compressor inserts & standard EQ?
😂😂 You've made my day, @15:02, thanks for the amazing Cubase tutorials, about to get version 11 now ❤
The more im playing with sqausher and frequency v2 its now become my goto plugins. Especially squasher the way it just opens up a mix and enhances on details love it
I have no words!
thank u Dom. u just introduced a huge weapon that i will use in my productions!
Squashing commencing! Thanks Dom!! Love these tutorials dude!
Great Tutorial Dom! with lots of insight and good vibe's.
As ever, great content, presented in an engaging and entertaining fashion, and with production quality that would put lots of mainstream TV to shame..... Top-notch stuff Dom.
Dom is my Cubase guru and of all time. 👊👊

Have you ever noticed that the output on each band is set to +6Db as a default? Definitely plays a part in the perceived loudness and effect of sounding better
Great tutorial, Dom! Thank you for the tips and nice dancing skills too! Hehehe
what a versatile compressor fabulous effects you demonstrated also, Awesome. you say plugin...I hope they do let it play with other DAWS.
Love it!
Hey Dom, could you make a video about mixing (in Daws like Cubase) different (plugin) synths sounds without losing the drums underneath?
Ott is due for a new album soon.
His music is like this video's lesson with amazing arrangement and obnoxiously precise mixing. I never understand how his sound is so detailed and his mix so morphic in every single moment....
But now I get it just a little bit better. Thanks Dom!
Eso es una animala De plugins. I love cubase 11. Saludos bro
I love you Dom lol
Great Dom, Amazing
Is the squasher the same as or similar to Process audio ‘s Sugar?
With this squasher, some 'EDM' DAWs are in trouble...Great work Dom..👍
Thanks Dom this IS awesome
Thank you Dom. You're such an inspiration!! Love the Squasher it's better then Waves MV IMO. :)
OK, this is probably one of your best. Cool inspiration!
I love this plugin my teacher
Greetings from INDIA, Dom.
Can't believe I've never tried this before!
Brilliant Dom!
Still on 10.5 but looking forward to this walkthrough .
Dear Dom Sigalas
I am so envious of people with good skin like you. music genius
May I know what food you eat every day?
If I eat the same food, like you
I hope my skin will get better.
answer Please.
Great vid, thanks for the tips! What do you think about the mastering glue?
wow!
Hello Dom, thanks for the video ! What's the name of the song on the second example ?
Great stuff Dom as always. I am still on Cubase Pro 10.5, I really think it is time now that I upgraded to Cubase 11! Keep these fantastic videos coming. Cheers.
Very helpful! Thank you!

Squasher is the best thing ever!
Ian Kirkpatrick (big time pop producer) says squasher is like OTT but better.... I've compared them and have to say I agree.
Great, Thank You.
Cool video!!
Squasher is the bomb 🥁🥁😎
Inspired!!
So, what is this tool doing in technical terms? Is it an advanced multiband compressor plus EQ and gate?
Super 😍
What exactly is this doung different from a compressor?
Hi Dom, How did you tun the all knobs at the same time in Cubase 11 pro?
Awesome!
Hey Don what about a video of Automation on Cubase? I feel like I only know the surface of it.
multiband limiter right
@7:42 😂😂😂😂😂👌❤
Can wait

Watch the last part in 1.5 speed. 😂
Very nice plugin.
It kills maximus and ott. U hypnotised my finger to touch subscribe.
Always fun and interesting
A pleasure
Thanks
Cubase 10.5 pro how to get squasher
Is this get only cubase 11?
Gratessss
Squasher!!!!
I've never found a good use case for Squasher....yet
Just wondering if this can replace my Oxford Inflator? same sort of upward compression but more control hmm
I thinks so. Squasher's advantage over other upward compression plugins like Oxford Inflator and OTT is the added control.
😃👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
❤🧡🧡🧡❤
Great ! But i am French and I just understood that you say "Dom Here" and not "Don't Hear" !!! Lol...
not bad but today competitors have linear phase mode! And that is important as you understand 😉
Which plugins do you refer to as competition Tim? :)
@@DomSigalas
OxyOTT or Sixth Sample Cramit PE amonth others

Love the tutorials. I wish Steinberg Customer service was as decent as you. They are the worst in the business.
Your animations make this vid stand apart brother...thx
hey are you Jesus? I mean you're so nice :)
what do you prefer to produce? Human league or DEad or alive? the 80s are aliveeeeeeee!!!!!
Awesome!
