Till the early 1930s, Tesla had a new patent every six months to year apart, then nothing from 1932 till his death in 1944. Reports was he was working on something for the US Navy regarding bending light waves to hide ships. Such bending of light exists, it is the basis of mirage (You see something that is not there, based on lighting being bent from some place else). Such bending of light can also hide things, it is believed that the Gigantic did not see the Iceberg that hit it for the Titanic was going through weather front and the front had bent the light so that from the Titanic nothing could be seen. Such a bending of light would have tremendous advantage in sea warfare. You can not hit what you can not see. The story is that the project died for two reasons, first was Radar, which bring sound based not light based can work through such bending of light. The other reason appears that Tesla' s method of using electrical power to hide ships, interfered with radar, thus making a ship "Blind" when it came to detecting the enemy using radar. As I said, this is only a story, I have never read any first hand accounts of the research. It appears to be the basis of the stories of the "Philadelphia Experiments" but people took the stories to moving a ship instead of such the image of a ship and adding horror stories of what happened to the crew, when in all probability the crew did not even know the test was going on and noticed nothing when the test took place. Horror stories are always bigger stories then a test that nothing happened. One last comment. Tesla was not only into electricity but liked fluids and hydraulics. He used hydraulics and electricity to invent the speedometer used on automobiles to this day. The system is based on transmissions not tire rolatation, thus does not have to be adjusted whenever you chsnge tires (unlike a bicycle speedometer which goes by rotation of the wheel and must be adjusted whenever the tire is changed). The automobile speedometer was Tesla's main source of income till he died, everybody wanted it and he owned the patent.

Tesla was so ahead of his time no body could’ve known what he could’ve done today
Nikola Tesla is honestly underappreciated
Nicolás Tesla is definitely one of the most brilliant inventors to have ever lived.
My family lived in same village as Tesla, Smiljen in region of Lika in what was called Serbian military Krajina. My great great grandma knew him personally and was good friends with him.
it is in Croatia. Tesla is a Croat
@@zuckoVAL he lived in serbia same long as you lived in avganistan
@@zuckoVAL Tesla was born in Croatia, by croatiens parents and he never set his foot in Serbia.
@@alexcro4769 his father was a true serb, and his mother was serbian, and croatian people are genetically serbs
@@alexcro4769 how is he croat if both of his parents were Serbian, his father was orthodox priest and he wasn't even born in croatia, he was born in Austro-Hungarian and yes he did set foot in Serbia many times, you probably got that information from sone Croat Nationalist facebook group so i won't take your arguments seriously. Besides that, it doesn't even matter where he is from.
Thanks man 👍.. was helpful
you play it smartass while you dont even know that it was not the titanic that sunk and they just renamed itbecause they were lazy to fix Olympic
If Tesla was still alive and successful
Then wifi could go even more faster
We need a time machine.
a 30 years advance
I'm a huge fan of tesla. but some parts of this video is incorrect and messy
how to find the correct sources about him?
I am currently studying him.
@@yueh-chihwu7612 His autobiography is called "My Inventions". It has A LOT of old and uncommon words especially if you're a non-native English speaker. There are other books you can find on the web too :)
True. Many of the videos about Tesla in RUclips are full of false information...which is sad
only Yugoslavian people know everything about him
@@sonja8185 Indeed
I like the Elon Musk reference with "Leon Musk" with a spaceship and an astronaut in a vintage car
Can you tell where exactly

I have played this video so much for a history project, that I have memorized all the ambience of the video.

Loved the Vid! You lot deserve more subs!!!
Give it up to one of the most uncredited geniuses in history in my opinion I believe Edison had something to do with suppressing Tesla’s successes because the last thing you want to show a tyrant is that you’re smarter and better than him
Is it only me or someone else who thinks he looks like "Howard Stark"?
He was the inspiration for him

No one:
Literally no one:
My point of view: our teslas was the legend. He was ahead of all the other scientists if he had also given a chance he would have literally changed the world. His inventions was insane just imagine if AC was not founded lol 😂. He is / was and always gonna be a legend for me. I didn't knew about him at first i had never heard about him never read about him but thanks to my science teacher who told us about him🙏😁.
I found out by youtube algorithm
you mean everyone.
I demand Simple History and Yarnhub collaborate. The similar style of how they go about explaining historical happenings is meant to be, they must make a video together.
The background music and Leon musk are highlights of the video
😏😏
I'm glad he is from my country. He is on of the people and things I'm proud came from my country.
I love the humor used in this. It seems like they had fun making it, and I had fun watching it.
The Serb Nikola Tesla was, is and remains one of the greatest geniuses in the world.
Wait so does that mean...
Nikola Made the Death Star?
Ralsei From Deltarune yes, it does
Also Marconi claimed a similar thing search Marconi's death ray. Scientists that really created weapons of mass destruction like Oppenheimer didn't boast at all
Honestly, you guys are way better, and way more precise than the Infographics show. You deserve more subs
I dont agree Infographics show goes Varied stuff
@@YourLocalYter yeah, but their vids are full of mistakes, in animation and tye stuff they say
Such inspiring stories should be added in our schools ciruculam syllabus so students get inspiration to do something strange and get motivation
Subscribed in just first 10 sec ,just how creative n engaging the animation was ,everything is well made ,ofc narration is also top notch
One of the greatest minds ever! Doesn't receive enough credit.
He's the tf2 medic, but he's real and succeeded in his experiments
I'm one of the luckiest to get to watch this so early. Truly passionate narrating and animation. Keep it up!
4:47 He actually didn’t trough his money on wireless communication, he must do it by his bosses that wouldn’t finance his wireless energy system...
*But really nice video!*
yarnhub I'm the biggest fan of your videos. This video is super awesome
I appreciate your work
"Who are you? And why are you so wise in the ways of science?"-Random guy at Tesla's time
I'm sorry but his life story just makes me sad. A man laying out the beginnings for devices and technologies we still use today, even has a unit (Tesla=kg/A*s²) named after him dying alone in a room he didn't even own.
Tesla's belongings: Now Available

bruh, these animations are freaking awesome and hilarious.
The Leon Musk joke got me lol
this video has so much references and information that i am impressed with your improvement
Leon Musk cause Tesla lol
Do you know that most who met him said that he was serious through their whole encounter?
I know Batman is fictional, but Nikola and him are very similar in that respect.
respect ? you mean aspect ?
Your videos are really good, the animations? Perfect. Documentation? Perfect. VA? Perfect. Now, one last question, what did Tesla wrote for Marconi and Edison?
"Edison of A-"
"Your mama is ???????"
I love how there is terminator music in the end
1:17 best cameo in the history of ever
My favorite history channel
If you think about it Nikolai Tesla is the irl version of Howard stark and Elon musk is the irl version of tony stark or at least the closer we have to him
Exactly.
Nah I would say Elon is like Edison, but better
I love this channel
The Animation is Perfect.
Good Job Guys.
