  • Storming the D-Day beach, Hollis didn’t take cover. Instead, in a moment of extreme courage, he stood up and ran zigzagging towards the German bunker with his gun blazing, slapping in a new magazine as he reached the enemy and silenced the threat, he then moved on to the second bun-ker taking 25 Germans prisoner. Sergeant Stanley Hollis continued to storm into action throughout the day. For displaying the utmost gallantry, he was the only man to be awarded the Victoria Cross on D-Day, an incredible feat.

@Kwoney ammunition by nature only has potential to be accurate. The German 7.92×57mm cartridge can be very accurate in a K98, but woefully inaccurate in a sawn-off SBR. The K98 had several features to make it an accurate rifle. Cartridges themselves are not an indication of actual accuracy, only potential accuracy. The K98 can be accurate using several other types of ammunition too.

Dear yarnhub, I have discovered your channel through the video where a bf 109 spared a b-17, (not the remaster)
The very first video in this channel.
And since then i have been captivated by your style of animating i have never seen anything like it before so i decided to stick around, i got worried when it took some time before you got to upload your 2nd video, but when i saw it i was amazed yet again by the great storytelling and narration not to mention the fantastic story telling. So after that i subscribed to your channel seeing that you deserve it and had the opportunity to see you learn and experiment with the animations i saw your skills develop with every video adding a little humorous easter egg on the background
When you decided to start animating in 3d, it was really uncanny at the beggining but, with every video they got better, from improving the faces to adding better eyes, i was amazed by the fact that with your weekly uploads you managed to improve in one way or another you never stopped feeding us quality animations and entertaining stories that beat fiction. To this i say thank you for the work you give to us your fans for *free*. Even though you never had any incentive to improve beyond your first style (the 2d drawigs you used to do) you still did it, i admire the dedication and hard work that you put onto your videos and i wish you all goodluck to your future ventures and thank you for taking us fans along the ride.

There is a story about a dog named Bing that jumped on D-day and earned the animal equivalent of the VC, the Dickin Medal.
