The record on the 100 meter dash was mine, I lost the cartride 2 years ago and thought that my record was broken a while ago, Turns out its still there!
You actually didn't get many start boosts in this. The best boost is when your character turns red. After that the boost gets weaker. You want to wait a second to charge your start boost (like in Mario Kart) so that your character is red when the event starts.
