This video was great - it provided confidence to do it myself. Installed mine yesterday and one piece that became obvious was that a 4-post lift (which I used) doesn't provide the axle gap that a 2-post lift does. I tried disconnecting the sway bar, but still had to cut the OEM exhaust to get it off. That was the biggest difference between this video and my experience. Still, this walk-through was perfect.
I installed the Atak and the way I got around cutting the stock exhaust was by backing up over ramps and taking out the spare tire and the metal shield behind it. I also removed the drivers side exhaust tip. After removing those three there was enough room to slide the exhaust out the front with a little bit of moving around. Hope this helps anyone facing the same issue.

Wow. The muffler on the classic 4th gens was so simple to swap. That factory setup looks like a terrible design and has made it much more difficult to swap. Pretty well need to go with a full exhaust now. I used to swap muffler systems on 2016 in 20mins as it was just 3 clamps.
Why is the chrome tipped rated at 5 out of 5 for loudness and the black tips only 4 out of 5 for the 2019-20 ram 1500

Just got a 2019 ram classic to bro I put the magnaflow 18 series and it's nice it's perfect aggressive when you give it gas but when idle it's a silent killer perfect exhaust

Ladarius Pritchett magnflow isn’t touching that borla period
AT should coordinate their loudness assessment rankings. Chrome tips are reportedly 5-5 and black tips are a 4-5. Obviously the color of the tips have no bearing on loudness. So... which is it?
bought a new 19 Ram Limited and just watching vids of what cat back i should put on my new truck...Borla or Corsa or flow master American thunder. Love them all...

What is the loudest exhaust system out there
Hi, I did everything in this tutorial and after about 500 miles with the Borla Atak installed, I’m experiencing an issue. The driver side tip is shifting slowly towards the left and it’s un-centered. The passenger side tip is perfectly fine and has remained centered the whole time. Do you know why this is happening? I’m going to a muffler shop later today to see why it’s shifting and then I might get the exhaust permanently welded instead of retightening the clamps.
Any drone?

Borla should have an ATAK system available for your 2014, honestly! I would check their website out directly to see. On our site, it looks like we currently only carry their S-Type and Touring systems. The Touring system will be a little bit louder than stock and let you hear the V8 in your truck a little better without getting too aggressive. The S-Type is the middle option between the Touring and the ATAK. It will make the exhaust note noticably deeper and throatier, without getting any high-pitch rasp that you may get out of the ATAK system. Check out the following links for more information! -Zach

Is the Borla Atak louder than a muffler and resonator delete or no?
When you're pounding on it, the volume level is going to be really similar! The real difference is that Borla's ATAK system will do an amazing job of keeping the volume but making the exhaust note much more refined sounding. Borla does an amazing job of keeping as much drone out of your exhaust as possible too. -Zach
