Assuming for a moment we actually have a first round pick, why would you recommend we draft a guard when we need a power forward? Maddy Westbeld is interesting but we haven’t seen her play since her most recent injury. I also think drafting a player without elite physical ability is a real risk. Janiah Barker is a much better choice but she may not enter the draft. If she does there is a good chance she won’t be available at number 8. It’s really a difficult draft class for the Fever to get anyone they need.
I like your collection of 5 players. I haven’t seen Sellers play enough to be sure on chive. I like Citron and Morrow both a lot. Citron brings great defensive intensity and when ND plays against top teams with stars player Sonia often takes the toughest defensive assignments. Aneesha is a rebounding machine and although small for the front court at 6’1 I have seen her tough, grit, and physical strength on display against top teams. I haven’t seen enough of Westbeld and Barker this year to inspire those picks, but your video encouraged me that top talent will be available at the 8th pick.
it seems to me that unlike the men’s basketball, the WNBA needs to have a person on this team who gets along with the others. Women’s sports clearly need a team mentality and can’t deal with any kind of competition within the team..

If Boston could move to the 4 they would have a shut down defense. The question there is can she run with the Fever's uptempo game? Another player in Europe I like Ajsa Sivka, a 6'4" power forward. She has an outside shot and looks I she can run too. This would be a good complement to Boston. She's only twenty but if she can be developed she'll be great for the long haul. This will depend on who the Fever can get in free agency. Nessa Morrow from LSU has been frequently mentioned and might be the right option for the Fever. Whoever is picked they need to follow Stephanie White's criteria. 1. Defensive abilities. 2. Can they run with her high octane offense. 3. Do they fit the team culture. For me I would add, can the score and complement Boston's defense.
These are all great players. It will be exciting to see who gets picked off first and who they end up with. I"m hoping for Aneesah Morrow myself just because I like her style.

Lucy Olsen was 3rd in scoring behind CC and Juju. As a starting Freshmen PG for Villanova, she beat Paige and obviously last year scored more pts than Paige did.

I think she'd be better with an expansion team like the Valkaries so she has time to grow. How about that 2, Olson and Martin from Iowa who come from the same basketball background and philosophy.
