I live in a terrace house with really tall ceilings and I love it because I like lots of clutter, big gallery walls, flags, posters, plants etc… and I have plentyyy of space. Especially when it’s a terrace because there’s very few windows. Super cozy.
1:52:23 up until a few years ago, I didn't have an AC unit. idk about the US, but up until relatively recently it didn't get so hot/cold that an open window couldn't fix it. I used the AC a lot last year during the summer, but I barely turned it on this year. I guess it's better to have and not need it, than to need and not have it. 1:55:12 funny driving on ice story considering nothing bad happened, but I slipped on ice while driving because I took a turn too fast and my car turned 90 degrees to the left followed by an immediate 180 to the right.

The thermostat convo got me, I lived in a place 6 units, and for some reason unit 5 controlled my heat in unit 3. Picture this, it's the middle of December, in Wisconsin, and normally you dress for the outside, light layers, whatever; these people had it at 80 degrees in there unit, and subsequently mine. I'm 8 months pregnant at the time... I waddled down the hall in my swim suit due too sweating like crazy and complained. It took them two weeks to fix and the woman threatened to sue me for indecent exposure because her husband opened the door... Giant mess... I did not renew my lease.
This was such chaos, and then the following day the EA app was down. So frustrating! I haven’t even bought the pack and can’t play my game half the time. Still love hanging out on stream, even when it’s not going well. 😂
I hate how chat tries to tell her what to do with her builds when she makes it known she’s building it for herself like the fact that they have that much audacity is crazy😒
Same. Kayla is so sweet and genuinely just wants us to have fun with her content, and it sometimes feels like chat takes advantage of that fact to push her around. Don't get me wrong, this community is great and I love being a part of it, but sometimes I feel like chat bosses her around and gives her snark for not doing things their way and it feels icky to me as someone who used to be a bit of a pushover myself. I'm sure that she would stand up for herself if it got too much, and I'm sure they're not being malicious about it, but as the "actually she asked for no pickles" friend, it definitely sets off my alarm bells when I see/hear chat giving her attitude like that.

I built on this lot and the gallery photo will have tree's if you go 3 stories and put roofing details on it (at least with a pitched roof). I deleted the chimney and the trees went away.
I just got to say. The chat for Twitch seems so toxic at times. They seem to not understand that this is your build and anyone can build in any way they want. Its not them that is building. Its so annoying how they try to control the build and nag you about almost everything. .....But then again thats like most of the sims community sadly.

The grace period is (I believe) like a day or two period after the lease you set where you can justly evict out a sim. Basically, their lease ended and you can either renew it by not doing anything or end their lease by kicking them out

The AC unit actually turns on if you select that option. It turns on without you needing a thermostat.
