I personally think that slow talkers are usually really patient people. She looks like someone who would be very easy to get along with or someone who everyone gets along with.
I literally think she is not Korean and Korean is her second language

It’s annoying that they call him a cheapskate but don’t you ever think that he likes to cook for the ppl he loves and cares about. It’s not about the price of the food but the importance of quality time with his employees. I love this show! ❤️

Shes faking it. Not in a bad way. It's just sscripted. She's given that character by the TV show. She's perfectly 'normal' woman who speaks normally in other videos other than this show. She's really cheerful and friendly too

Personally I think that she's just so precious though the slowness can be quite annoying. Also the panel keep on being in shock and complaining that she eats so much when they don't understand bodybuilder's work. Even if she got high metabolism she's also in a competition ffs.

AlohaKIG lol r u serious? Ramen is super high in sodium and calories. It’s not even good cholesterol, it’s stuff that’s not good for you body. Of course they would be surprised to see them eating ramen. And even then they’re only doing it because they’re off season.

It's just Korean culture to tease about things like that. This kind of stuff is taken really lightheartedly. They know he's wealthy and he spends, but it's just a joke and frugal spending is his reputation. I see a lot of comments saying the hosts are disrespectful and stuff, but that just Korean humor. People watching from outside of Korean culture are far more sensitive about those comments. Also, translations are usually more literal and somethings aren't able to be fully understood in the same context.
It's Korean humour, something that they can say to the people they are comfortable with. Especially in this show where everyone is trying to be funny. Lol

She is just so adorable and unique.... and i like the way she is....
My mom used to own a store and an eatery when I was in high school so she had 4-5 employees. For the first two years, there have been a lot of employee changes but this one employee resembles Dongeun. She was slow in doing tasks and chores too; she has to be ordered around and checked on when performing a task. She also wasn't very mindful of her surroundings; there was a time a fight broke out outside our store because of some drunkards and out glass door was smashed, but when we asked her she couldn't relay the story very well.
Growing up in an Asian household, I learned the hard way that my mom isn't the type to tolerate this kind of behavior and work ethic. But she never fired her. It was because out of all other employees, she was honest and not cunning, and reliable in that aspect.

It’s just how it is for Korean shows like this. You can tell if you watch more Korean tv shows like hello councilor. It’s so common that if you get easily frustrated by rude talking and remarks for comedy it’s better to just not watch and find a different genre

I been working in fitness industry for 5 years , its not being cheapskate. Normally when you work in fitness industry you will tend to work longer hours than your shift. Start 6am in the morning you might end working at 11pm. Basically you do everything near to gym or inside the gym. Its lucky that they have rooftops to enjoy their dinner . There a lots of way to do bulking season too , they choose to eat ramen and its good because of high carbs and sodium to gain bigger size. If you work out enough and know your body well you can choose some type of food and still have a lean body.

I kind of understand people getting mad at the hosts. I think it’s really important for shows to have a well-balanced staff. If everyone has the same opinion and jokes then it seems too much.
I always enjoyed shows where the hosts reign each other in even with guests cause it’s a lot more pleasant to watch. If every hosts goes after the guests or comments exactly the same it’s unpleasant to watch for me.
If it was more balanced, someone would probably say how amazing she is or compliment her instead.

I love boss yang, in this show you began to understand why he saves so much money. He feeds his employees constantly and fits the bill for their food. He also owns the business and rents that bulding. During covid they almost lost it all. But because he always saves money, he wasnt hit as hard when they even shut down for covid.
He lost his first business and it was stolen by an old friend. It was that experience that made him save money and be more direct. But having those qualities created him to be more open and direct with employees and even encourage them to one day open thei own gyms.
