- All My Children, 2002, Brooke is stressed out because she can't get a hold of Laura. Edmund doesn't think there is anything to worry about, but agrees to help track her down to ease Brooke's concern. Just then, Laura walks in the door. Brooke leaves the room to make Laura some breakfast, and Edmund wonders if Laura has ever thought about her mother's happiness. Brooke re-enters the room, and questions the tension between Laura and Edmund. Laura tries to pin it all on Edmund, but Brooke wants an answers to Edmund's question - does Laura want to see Brooke be happy. The answer leads a confrontation about Laura's recent behavior. Finally, Brooke breaks down the walls that Laura has put up since her split from Leo. Laura agrees to seek help, which means that she is leaving Pine Valley. God I wished Laura came back and teamed up with Annie to take down Greenlee in AMC’s final months. It would have been fun to see them duke it out.

I hated how they rewrote Laura's character when Laura Allen took over. Lauren Roman's portrayal was strong and didn't take any crap from anyone.

Laura did die. Years later, a homeless girl named Laura was assaulted at a shelter that Brooke had opened up in PV. Brooke eventually adopted her.

I really disliked Greenlee around this time and glad that Laura was just called a duck a duck saying that she would always hate the sight of Greenlee. I love that Greenlee's cage was rattled and was unsettled by that comment. LOL.
@novelasdomundo4621 Greenlee NEVER became a better person lol She just became more liked within the Pine Valley crowd and that's why she took a long hiatus after finding out Spike wasn't her baby. She had no one to stay behind for and nothing changed from there by the time the show ended hahaha
