These interactions I think have shown us that not only did Swanson come out of addiction, but that that Micah has been wanting to get Ms. Grimshaw as she and Arthur represent those who are willing to protect those who can't protect themselves.
Interestingly the Biblical book of Micah addresses God's judgment against the wicked - including those who *betray* people (Micah 7:2-6). But thankfully the passage doesn't end there, and tells us that God will forgive His people (7:18-20).

Opium literally *is* morphine. Like, it's the dried latex of the opium poppy, the active ingredients in which are codeine and morphine. I have no clue what you could possibly think you were trying to say anyone is right or wrong about, because the first clause of your post is equivalent to saying "The Doctor's right! Strep Throat *is* Streptococcus pyogenes!" while the second one is just wrong. Oxy, morphine, and just about everything else in that class of medications are similar but they are not the same thing; also, no clue what point you think you're making with any of that but actual heroin, as in Diacetylmorphine, is readily available by prescription in a variety of countries because it, like everything else, has its uses.
5:38 This is the moment canon Arthur would throw Micah over that log like a rag doll for getting in her face like that and spitting in Reverend. The worst thing about this game is you can’t stick up for camp members
Oddly enough, his interactions with Reverend Swanson, a character I really like, are among the few times I find myself understanding/relating to Micah, a character I really DON'T like (except as the wonderfully hateable villain that he is). Micah's views on personal responsibility and realism as well as the "dog eat dog"-mentality he goes by are pretty obvious in these scenes, and while he's still being his usual asshole self I don't think he does it just to get under anyone's skin, he actually and legitimately hates Swanson because he represents everything Micah disrespects: relying on others to survive, believing in "unrealistic" things, wrecking oneself through drug abuse (Remember kids: Micah says "opioids are for losers"), abiding to a moral code that, in Micah's eyes, just holds them back - and not even having the strength of character to do THAT well. I originally considered Micah to be a pretty by-the-books villain who was in it solely for the money and the chance to do, well, evil shit, but he's actually a pretty interesting character, I think. A protagonist with the same beliefs who is less of an insufferable troll would be really intriguing to play as.
I'd personally *love* for RDR3 to be the story of a young outlaw in the real heyday of the old west, before modernity had begun to encroach upon them. A hotshot gunslinger who had grown up on his own, traveled the world from California to Liberia, and eventually learns to trust and ultimately rely on outsiders after he suffers a serious injury that leaves him in constant pain from that day forward, forcing him to become dependent upon the younger men he had once mentored...and they come to call him, "Uncle".

@@fiachrakelly4889 Make no mistake; I so badly long for a cutscene where I could witness Arthur's wrath descend upon Micah's soul, reign down every agony imaginable upon him, rip apart that degenerate's corpse, lay my gaze upon his filthy, broken, violated body, and parade his lifeless head from my horse through every corner of the map before turning it into a mantle piece for my candle lit shrine in my Tahitian mango farm, as a testament to how much of a malevolent scoundrel he is...Just as much as anyone else.
1:54 pause the "huh?" Sounds like my great uncle
I like how Micah was just smoking his cigarette blew his last puff and was like Now im ready shit on the Reverend 😂
I find it funny that even while intoxicated by morphine he still manages to roast micah
He never roasted micah what are you talking about lmao
0:58 ok that is one sweet leather jacket.
EpicHunter117 Gaming it’s still Micah
@@daveynorton who cares
Micah has some good points, he could have made more of an inpact on the gang in a good way if he just possesed a fraction of charisma. He is right in a lot of things, he just dosen't know how to communicate it to others, probably because he hasn't learnt any other way of communicating than bullying. Classic like father like son.
Loyalty seemed to be a weak point of his though.
I also think Micah is right when it comes to a lot of things. In this case when he calls Swanson a parasite, he is not wrong. It's just all the other gang memebers already hate Micah and they automatically assume that Micah is in the wrong.
@@viktorpetrov1190 if they were ever to make a prequel to rdr2 ( for some weird reason) I think Michas story would be the most interesting one to explore.
4:34 don’t lose your fedora there, Micah.
i feel so bad for micah's actor, i could never play someone so cruel😭 the reverend is so underrated!
Hate him or not, but Micah is a fully developed character in game, like Arthur and Dutch.
Hate micah, but man does his voice actor do the perfect job of making you hate him
Roger Clark makes you love Arthur, and Benjamin Byron Davis makes you hate and love Dutch at the same time
*actor
These interactions I think have shown us that not only did Swanson come out of addiction, but that that Micah has been wanting to get Ms. Grimshaw as she and Arthur represent those who are willing to protect those who can't protect themselves.
Funny how Micah mocks Christianity when his own name came from the Bible.
The Bible is man written
Babe Corey-c Still doesn’t change the fact that Micah is biblical
@@masqueilluminati4038 But God inspired! What do you think God wrote it himself?
Babe Corey-c
So is everything else but I’m pretty sure that that doesn’t make it any less true
Interestingly the Biblical book of Micah addresses God's judgment against the wicked - including those who *betray* people (Micah 7:2-6). But thankfully the passage doesn't end there, and tells us that God will forgive His people (7:18-20).
When Micah told Reverend that God was dead, the sun just went down. And he was saying it with his hands in the air. I thought it was pretty funny
Micah IS really a piece of ....but let's be honest , he doesn't fear anyone except Arthur and later the legendary Jim Milton i think IS name IS
That's why je antagonize everyone , because he knew that they can't do NOTHING to him , he IS one of the most mortal gunslayer of the gang and he know that
Micah is right about Reverend... opium is morphine just how Oxicodin is heroine and available at pharmacies
5:04 the bowl excused itself
Revrend sounds like at any moment he could burst into tears
3:03 someone (Micah) pulled the hand in the bucket of warm water prank on poor old Reverend
"That man's a mess! He contributes nothing!"
Arthur: "I could say the same about every single one of you"
I like how at 3:50 Micah says he never saw reverend eating Even though hes The only main character to never Be seen eating
5:38 This is the moment canon Arthur would throw Micah over that log like a rag doll for getting in her face like that and spitting in Reverend. The worst thing about this game is you can’t stick up for camp members
I feel sorry for Swanson poor thing
Funny how he becomes the most succesfull member of the gang
@@cristi.5 yeah
I’ve played the game 5 times and I’ve only found 3 of these interactions. It’s the one thing that brings me back again and again
0:05 I imagined an eagle flying down on his shoulder.
As much as I hate Micah's guts, I somehow appreciate the fact that he quoted Nietzsche.
I truly despise Micah as do many others but that just goes to show how good the voice actor is and he did one hell of a job
Reverend being a drunk suddenly makes a lot more sense to me
Well Micah wasn't really wrong when he said "all of us can earn"
Not to resurrect an old comment, but to be honest - those believes are only ever gonna make a person into an insufferable old asshole like Micah
Micah was a brilliant villain
1:31 Swanson: Whatever creature you worship…
Me: Micah worships himself.
Oh my poor boy ;_;
swanson moments are chock full of lols, i look for him everytime i return to camp
Guys Peter Blomquist made me love Micah
damn Peter😭
Rockstar executive: how can we make a man of god an outlaw?
Rockstar employee: alcohol
Rockstar executive: brilliant
Reverand is one of my fav characters And micah being so mean to him is so sad
Reverend:”Excuse m-“
Micah:”YOUR EXCUSED!”
Why is there an option to greet Micah??
1:16
Micah's concept art
I love how passive-aggressive he is with Micah xD
Ohhh he she issss
Micah:"Have you not heard reverend?, God is Dead."
He literally worships satan because he is known for that sentence
All the dislikes are from Micah
Everyone talking about how weak the reverend was. What they don’t understand is that in the end he was on the exact journey that he needed to be.
When my mom/dad tells me to go up to my room and stay there : 5:49
My favorite hidden dialouge is when Bill messes with hosea because he's drunk then hosea pulls out his revolver and aims it at bill lol
2:41 Whoa there Ms Grimshaw😳
I wish Arthur said that instead of apologizing hahah
Honestly I’d love to see what the gang was like before Micah joined. RDR3 should be about Dutch and Hosea getting the gang together
There wouldn’t be any stakes
@@cammongo3525 the other options I can think of is Dutch/Hosea losing a lot of members before meeting for the Blackwater heist, a game centred around just Dutch and Hosea’s life before the gang, or the events after the first game when Jack kills Agent Ross
0:18 that is a sin

He’s gonna go to the deep fryer section in Hell. That’s for sure.
@@surrk1057 He killed cain of course he is
Thanks to this clips, if i didn't get to see those hidden dialogues i can see them in here :)
i cant get over the implication that micah has read nietzsche or at least knows that quote
u know the part where Micah says god is dead is actually a quote from a book written by a philosopher named Nietzche
I kind of hate Micah but his lines are one of the funniest things in the camp
never seen micha genuinely hate someone as hard as reverand
