I also have used vinegar for over 20 yrs no issues, but follow the pack lol. Found 50 lbs. bucket online for $199 which is $4 a pound and over 133 gallons. I have learned to buy bulk on things you constantly use, rodi filters, alkalinity and so on.
It's ironic that you just posted this video after I watched a couple hours of videos on how to clean an old tank and almost used muric acid. I just got a RedSea-130d with about 10 years of Coraline on it yesterday.
Can I soak my tubing for the python gravel cleaner in a citric acid solution to clean the tubing and rinse it well and then use it again to clean and refill my tank?
Citric acid just wins on all levels; cheaper, works better, and doesn't smell. I also use it for rust removal on stainless steel kitchen and bathroom fixtures. When soaking I let it go a full 2-3 hours and there's almost no scrubbing required. For the metric minded folks out there that's roughly 50g per 1L.
Perhaps one final way to compare citric acid in vinegar. Which takes up less space in your fish storage area? One bottle of citric acid or 10 bottles of vinegar. 😀
That citric acid is a game changer. Did annual maintenance on 4 tanks and the pumps and skimmers took no time at all to clean up.

I heat up citric acid in the electric kettle for soaking purposes, it keeps the kettle so fresh and so clean too

How do you know when you have it completely off the tank walls before you fill with salt water again ?

I use about an 1/8 of the amount and soak for 24 hours. Makes it even cheaper
