Wired drones is the way to go ... windows cleaning to solar panel washing to emergency lighting to temp cellular towers .. u name it .. endless application once u have a wired drone without being dependent on batteries and fly time
@MiguelLimaCDM Yes but people in these type of settings aren't going to care like a homeowner. These drones are more than sufficient for the results needed.
It could be cleaned numerous different ways; the drone increases jobsite safety, decreases the amount of laborers, resulting in a more cost effective approach to the project. The drone is just another tool and opens them up to being able to say Yes! We can definitely do the job!" For $35,000 or $350/day rental vs. $1800-$2300/day boom lift rental. Immediate savings or increase in profits whichever way you look at it.
@@ktpowerwashing I understand that drone is easier and cheaper. I was just surprised that putting up a huge and dangerous crane was easier and cheaper than lowering people down to clean the windows.
@ScarlettM man cranes close to building involving more risks and it also can limit the way it reaches the areas you need depending what you have around the building like a slope etc.. but it also effects the insurance and compliance specially if you don't have a flat area around the building... so with drones its much easier overall...
You're taking a look at a Lucid Sherpa and Rev E (an older model). At the time of the video, Donnie had a Rev E, but we also brought a new Sherpa for him to play with for a bit.
This guy looks like he should be smoking a joint, How can squirting a trickle of water/solution on a window from 6 feet make the window clean and end up streak free compared to typical window cleaning servives? Nice cartoon idea but in the real world is it financial viable.
Well, your not squirting a tickle of water, you are using high pressure deionized water/solution. no doubt typical method is better, but theres more than seeing your windows cleaned. the logistic needed to tackle a job like this is tedious and very expensive and very risky. planes, cars, submarines were nice cartoon ideas too ... oh wait..
this guy is the best thing that ever happened to window cleaning... super cool interview !
Lucid! what a incredible footage. ;))
how you clean window without brushing?
You dont its just spraying
Spraying purified water from a ro/di water filtration system. Spotless results

Wired? To what? The batteries on the DJi Matrice are 55 mins each I'm pretty sure the batteries for that drone are similar.
@@ktpowerwashing 20 minutes maximum on this system.
I wonder if this method is more effecient than Industrial Rope Access.......
Its not. Nothing is as good as by hand this is just spraying at the end of the day
@@MiguelLimaCDM im designing a wash drone that scrubs as well then squegees

Question: why couldn't this building be cleaned by going from the roof, lowering people down to clean?

@@ScarlettM being lowered down on a wash deck or individually would limit the amount of surface that could be cleaned that's for sure.

That’s what happens when municipalities do away with setbacks they create problem zones.
