This Friday I'm revisiting a classic of the French repertoire, Les Feuilles Mortes (Autumn Leaves). I am playing on my Altamira gypsy jazz guitar (nylon string version). Видеоклипы

Thank you so much Roger! Have a wonderful weekend! Take care
Lovely! Very fitting as I've just spent the whole morning clearing up leaves at work 🤣
It is that time of the year indeed! Have a great weekend James and be careful with wet leaves, they are treacherous.
@@AxelleGuitar Thanks Axelle, I will! And have a great weekend too
All of the team at LiveLoungeRecordings enjoyed this Axelle!! If you have a minute, we would love if you would check out our latest LiveLounge session!
Thanks for your great feedback!
SO nicely played! Makes me feel like it's a lazy weekend day in the rain. 🙂 BTW, I love that guitar! How would you compare the build quality of Altamira vs Cordoba?
Thank you Phil. It is a great guitar, especially for the price tag. The great thing about it is its sustain due to a larger body. The fretboard is not made of ebony but it is not really an issue. The main difference is the width of the fretboard which is narrower making it closer to an acoustic steel string guitar. It is not an issue in itself but switching from a standard classical to a narrower neck requires a bit of adjustment. It comes with practice. Overall the quality is fantastic for the price tag. As for every guitar, check the frets for buzzing and get a saddle bone adjustment. I had to get my Cordoba C10 adjusted by a luthier as it had a bit of buzzing on the 5th fret on the bass strings. It plays a really clean and crystalline sound. I am playing Savarez Creation strings on the Cordoba. I only changed from Savarez 520R recently and I am very impressed with the Creation series, especially with the trebles.
@@AxelleGuitar I'm playing on an Alhambra Mengual Serie C with Hannabach Goldins. I'm still weighing options for a second, lower-priced instrument that I can take into rougher conditions without worrying. Cordoba is much easier to find here than is Altamira.
