Ive been gone from Altus AFB since 1983. Its hard to believe how things have changed, but the one thing that has remained constant is that the quality of life in the air force has always been the best compared to any other branch of the military. I would love to take another tour of Altus AFB soon. Thanks for the tour Jace.
I was stationed there from 1973 to 1973. Dorms we were in at the time were similar to this, but it was 2 guys to a room. Close to the Airman's Club and Commissary. I worked at the hospital, which wasn't very far away either. Had a blast in Arkansas, more time off than ever. Enjoy your new room!!!
There is a lock on both sides for the bathroom and kitchen. We've been through basic training... if that happens "my bad, man" and close the door. Anyhow my suite-mate and I are both courteous. If the bathroom/kitchen light is on or I hear noises, I won't even mess with the door.
Yes. Traditional dorms have shared bathroom and kitchen. Pod style dorms is like a 4 bedroom apartment, where you have your own room and bathroom. The kitchen, living room, and laundry section is shared.
Out of all the dorms I’ve seen. No shade but yours is amazing. Like everything not everywhere and it’s very clean neat organized. Thank you.
Thank you. That's just me in general.
OMG.. You're so neat and organized!

Man, I got out 14 years ago, but I do remember these days sharing everything, don't miss it, but was fun while I was young.
That cologne collection was kinda live
Ha, thanks. I kind of got rid of some. I'll make a video on the ones I have currently.
Very nice, clean, organized the best airforce dorm ever on youtube.

Just be glad you weren't at fort Carson Colorado from 1980 to 1982, if you were in the artillery rooms, you would not of had that.

Things have really changed since I was in! Are those black Hilfigers acceptable for duty?
The boots at 3:08? No, those were just casual boots, not for duty.
