Brilliantly explained Michelle and an amazing push towards the cause/ backing to what I feel so passionate for my being ex EHO, Lifeguard and now I am so passionate about Security.
I have been in the security industry for 22 years and have come across people who I doubt have even gone through the learning process and courses legitimately. I recently had my up-skilling course with some who were booked in didn't attend, with the trainer removing 4 off the course who couldn't even complete the first day tasks.
10:26 I’m confused here when she stated that the license applications pay for the SIA? The SIA is a government agency therefore Civil Service (they advertise jobs on the Civil Service website) therefore should be paid for by the taxpayer. I understand why we have to pay for the initial license but now It makes sense why there is a requirement for a renewal so often (we are literally paying their wages) and has nothing to do with upskilling or refresher training. The reality is that when you’re doing the job full time, you are more current (and in some cases more competent) than those that you are paying for the refresher training.
Hello there I always watching to you because I want to know more knowledge about security industry...do you have cctv supervisor videos I have interview soon to this job thanks

You will need to complete a training course and then you can apply for your SIA licence: www.get-licensed.co.uk/door-supervisor
I didnt get the answer of is Top Up training carrying on? Yes or no
