Roland really knocked it out of the park with the value on this kit. Module sounds great, VH10 hi hats, 12" snare drum, that's a lot of bang for your buck.

So wait, this is only $1599 and the TD17kvx is $1899? I mean if you are a module player, you can still afford the 17kvx, that would be your better deal, plus you get the second CY-12. Now on the other hand, if you just need a reliable kit to trigger VSTs (with no need for module sounds), you can save some cash or get this and then also upgrade for a better module.

Now I'm having to spend $1,000-1,300 on used td-17kvx kits, and take a gamble buying used. I can't believe you can't take two crashes and one 3 zone ride on a $1,200 drum set. Also the td07kvx should be $999.
