Aurora does not mean heathens in a negative sense. It’s only Christianity that demonised earth based practices which is heathen or pagan… Aurora is all about such things. Hence the album and paying homage to the Gods we can touch and not a God in the sky. She interviews about this concept quite a bit.
100% agree. One of the best album i've ever heard, and your reaction is just 🤌♥️ chef's kisses. Aurora said that she would return to "dark aurora" in a future project and plus she said that "A Little Place called The Moon" is a perfect "connector" for her next album. She's basically a Queen, Fairy, Mother Nature, Goddess in one body.
Conversion therapy is still a thing indeed! It's banned in only 16 countries, but several more are changing laws in near future. Only 20 US states have fully or partly banned it.
Your reaction to Everything Matters is exactly how I was when I first heard it - jaw hitting the floor, overwhelmed by the otherworldly melody and instrumentation.
I like how you said, "Shes made of magic"! My google hub recommended Runaway on a thumbnail over a yr ago. I thought, wow, she looks young and I like her hair so I watched/listened. I have been listening to her every single day since. My daughters and I got to see her live in May and we got to meet her!!! She was AS AWESOME live as I expected!!! The way you said you feel floaty...that is how I feel when I listen to all of the layers of her songs (especially towards the end of Exhale Inhale, which is one of my faves from this album).

I confess that when I heard it the first time, I didn’t liked it much, I was expecting something more folk and indie vibe, but then it’s bops after bops, I LOVE this album. I think it’s her most commercial album, but that’s ok she has bills to pay.
When you speak about the animalistic sound, I think you also mean primal because that's the word I use to describe her music so it actually makes a lot of sense when you say it's animalistic. when you say primal you thing of an animals primal instincts. I would love to see you look into SKOTT. Her production is really top notch, not to mention her voice also has an insane range.
This is the first reaction from you that I'm seeing and I'm absolutely obssessed with your energy. Is so good to find people that react to music the same way you do (plus the editing is *chef's kiss*) -- Can't wait to see your other videos!
All is soft inside, live at KEXP with Aurora, I know you will love it. It's a very special intime concert. Check it out. 👍 I love your reaction. Love from Norway 🇳🇴
Now we move on to the live shows which in my opinion are some of her best work. Her smiles, connections to the audience, and her band do some otherworldly things. Her covers are great too. :)
❤❤❤= Your reaction. I've been obsessed with AURORA since the beginning and ALL her albums are crazy good. But TGWCT simply is ridiculous! It's her most consistent album and the first time I heard it I couldn't process how good it is. Every single song is a masterpiece on its own. I've seen her twice in concert and both of them ties at #1 of the best I've ever been to. She's pure magic and you really shouldn't miss seeing her live. Love from Norway. 🤗🇳🇴🤗
Just listened to all 4 of your Aurora reaction and I love how much you love her already. And the crazy thing is, that if you have only listened to her songs, you are only halfway there. Because half the experience i watching her sing. I am sure other people have already told you this a hundred times, but you need to watch some of her live performances. The music videos are great of cause, but the live sessions are out of this word.
This was such a great reaction🤗 To me Aurora is the best artist in the world, she’s so unique. It’s very difficult to point out some favourites, cause I love them all ❤️ But maybe “You Keep Me Crawling” “Exhale Inhale” “A Dangerous Thing” “Everything Matters” “Exist For Love” “Blood In The Wine” Ok I can’t, I love all of them 😅😍 “Exist For Love” is actually her first love song, and since you love this I’m sure you’ll love “A Potion For Love”. Aurora calls it the sister of “Exist for love”😊 It was only released on the B - side of the vinyl single “Cure For Me” ruclips.net/video/cXkbwOUn2ko/видео.html She’s not as innocent as you think, you should check out some of her interviews, or “Aurora being funny for for example 5 minutes” or something. Thanks so much for the beautiful reaction! I love how you enjoyed every minute of it. It's really moving to see and somehow it made me tearful. I can't wait for your reaction to her live performances!
Everything Matters, Giving Into The Love, Cure For Me, Heathens, A Temporary High, and A Dangerous Thing, are all as impressive individually as anything I've heard since Tool released their Ænima album. She has this gift for creating music which is simultaneously quite unusual (non-conventional melodies, odd genre blending), but also which feels like the music you've been waiting to hear all your life. It's not like no one has ever tried weird things like she does. The difference for me, is that she does it every time, and makes it wonderful. And I'm not hearing a plateau in her ability. She just keeps getting better at it.
This is the first time I watch your video, and you transcribe so well the emotions you feel. I have listened to this album a million times, and, with you, it's like I discovered it. Thanks you for you sharing !
It was an absolute joy watching you discover Aurora, so thanks for uploading all these reactions! I agree with you that this album is her best, just a solid piece of work from front to back. And now, looking forward to your reactions to her music videos or lives.
Enjoyed your reaction. And yes, this album has much variety and is different then her previous works but it is just great. I just love her music :). I think I love most from this album: Everything Matters, Exhale Inhale, A Dangerous Thing, The Innocent, Blood in the Wine, You Keep me Crawling, Heathens (but it is like half of a album :P ) and second half is also great:).
Yess love this! Too bad this is her latest album for you to react to but I’m sooo excited to watch you react to her music videos and live performances next!
@@BethThereseReacts Now after 4 albums (3 albums + 1 EP) you have heard ~60% of Aurora's songs 🙂 (also counting her cover songs because they are so Aurora). You missed 3 non-album singles + 2 songs from her very first EP (pre-All My Demons), and she has ~22 unreleased songs which are on YT (most from All My Demons "era" and a few from Step1 / Step2 era). She also have 3 songs in Norwegian. She has done ~20 great cover songs which are all on YT, and that is not counting the 2 you already heard on All My Demons, and not counting a few Norwegian ones. Let me know if you want a list.
You should watch Aurora in a live concert in Nidarosdomen. OMG! It’s a masterpiece.. there are many different songs from the albums you've already heard!
I know I'm so late to this video but Pomme has heavy Aurora vibes but as a French singer. Ethereal, soft, and existential and sometimes (mostly) depressing. If you haven't already, I would recommend her album "les failles" or "consolation" with a translation pulled up because her vibes are also excellent, if her feature wasn't enough haha.
there will be a deluxe for this record. it will have 3 songs that was exclusive to vinyl. one song has already been released on streaming, it's The Woman I Am. The 2 other vinyl songs are Potion for Love and The Devil is a Human. I hope you will do a reaction to the deluxe when it's out.
This album is stunning. The production, the vocals, everything is just next level. I think my two favs from this album are Everything Matters and This Could Be A Dream. I would love to see you react to some live performances of your fav songs, or some interviews/documentaries with her as she's such a character haha. I highly recommend checking out her friend and fellow Norwegian artist Sigrid! Her new album just came out a few weeks ago.
Good reaction, again! As some other suggest : go for live now, and if I can add this, get the FULL concert version of them, in between song she talk, some time a lot, most of the time very funny, and you won't have it in ''cut version' one song at a time, don't worry, we'll be here for those long version and all the NRK production are never cut from YT ;-) grab any of them, you'll be amazed. My favorite one is Nidarosdomen.
I really loved the journey of you discovering aurora and her music. I reallllly hope you can react to Conan Gray’s music. He’s a really great musician. And also his pen game is OUTSTANDING!
