Despite the musicality, she is probably the best young girl I've seen performing this variation in a ballet competition. Very gifted, nice work and great presence on stage. I hope she is still dancing nowadays. Wish her the best !

I actually know someone who was able to take the music off of youtube, and then we were able to adjust the speed in different places to fit my needs ... hope this helps! :)
gah hannah you rediculous little girl. Love all the emotion. Can't wait to see where you're at in the next few years. See you later this week at the studio :)
Was it necessary to add multiple triple pirouettes but she could not even finish them in proper fifth? The music is so beautiful, this dance requires strong technique, yet it also requires emotion and sensitivity because of the story. Sometimes, in competition, dancers tend to show off by adding more pirouettes but often omit the subtlety, artistry & sensitivity of the choreography.
Calm your clamshells that's what competition is showing off your great abilities and it was absolutely amazing to tell the truth if you have nothing nice to say don't say it at all
Jordan Black no need to be that rude...it's a ballet competition and essential for ballet is the musicality and feeling of the music...adding triples isn't necessary, you can also "show off" with your emotions and acting.
Her teachers were from the Vagonova (Russia) School and Cuban National Ballet so for her age, her technique is quite good.... and I see more sensitivity and emotion in her performance than most professionals.
You did fantastic! Could you pleeeeease pleease please let me know where you got that music from? I've been searching for this variation quite a long time but I never found a recording with a "danceable" tempo like yours. I'd be very thankful if you helped me out! Best regards from Germany :)
So I have been watching principal dancers perform this variation and this is by far the best one I have seen! So amazing! Are you with a company yet? :)
All right, I understand. I already did that, but I thought maybe you had an original recording of a better quality. But obviously there is none. I should be happy with what I got! ;)
Hey ! I was wondering if you know who made this choreography? I know this is different from the actual Gamzatti variation performed by ballet companies.... but it is beautiful!
This is in the Natalia Makarova version. She said she stage La Bayadère the way it was staged either when she was in Vaganova or when she was in the Mariinsky. This variation is in the temple destruction scene.
@anya1456 for sureee it is mostly russian your arms are such a beautiful thing well don my dear i stand for your performance adn teh interpretation was taht emotional that it reminds me a little bit of the darcey bussell you may have studied her performances for training am i wrong? in any case you are such a beautiful dancer keep working!
ImGray Sure, but personally I think the shank is to dark and the shoes too pink. Also, I can kinda see the reflective GM symbol. Tbh it doesn't really matter.
This is in the Natalia Makarova version of La Bayadère, performed by companies like Royal Ballet and ABT. She said she stages La Bayadère the way it was staged either when she was in the Vaganova or when she was in the Mariinsky. This variation is in the temple destruction scene

Who Cares If she Missed A Proper 5th. She is exquisite and better than most professionals I've seen in this role. Gorgeous dancer.
really really good job. nice to see someone remember to act in this variation as well as dance.
She's amazing.
Breathtaking! I got chills throughout.
Beautiful. That is not an easy piece. Hope she's still dancing.
Beautiful!
I love how her dress moves with each movement! Very graceful!

She is a good as Darcey Bussell who danced for the Royals. Wow!!
I second the comment below, you have an amazing stage presence! This variation is so difficult, but you did an awesome job.

The person who choreographed la bayadere which is probably dead lol
This is not the variation performed in the Wedding Scene. This is from Act 3 I think. Temple Destruction Scene

Does anybody know what’s the name of this piece of music? Is it Minkus?
@cvds4dance Grishko Pro 2007s . . . thank you :)
That was absolutely gorgeous. You're so long and beautiful.

Very, very, beautiful.
how long did it take to learn this variation to the point that you could perform it??
Your turns are lovely!
nıce job girl...
do you prefer gaynor or grisko?
Only 16!
Those are some of the most nimble feet I have seen. :O
🙌🌸🌸🌸
👏👏👏👏👏🌸🌸🌸🤗
What pointe shoes are those?
Looks like gaynor minden :)
Why not Gaynors? Shes dancing in them as if they were, and they look like it...
Dancing For My Savior they look like a version of Grishko
ImGray Sure, but personally I think the shank is to dark and the shoes too pink. Also, I can kinda see the reflective GM symbol. Tbh it doesn't really matter.
She has a very long way to go
her musicality is a little off, but other than that, she's good! nice job!

OMG ME TOO :D
Surely this is Nikiyas variation and not Gamsatti
this is Gamzatti's variation in the temple destruction scene, in Act 3
