    Happy new year everyone!
I’m back with another film short from the golden age Laurel & Hardy “help mates” debuted in 1932 directed by James parrot produced by Hal Roach and released by MGM. James was also actor in silent films and the younger brother of comedian Charlie chase.
Laurel & hardy were a comedy duo act during the early American cinema silent era, they later successfully transitioned to "talkies". From the late 1920s to the mid-1950s, they were internationally famous for their slapstick comedy, with Laurel playing the clumsy, childlike friend to Hardy's pompous bully. Their signature theme song, known as "The Cuckoo Song", The Dance of the Cuckoos" (by Hollywood composer T. Marvin Hatle. They both individually had successfully careers,
    Hers a interesting film fact!
Stan He was a member of "Fred Karno's Army", where he was Charlie Chaplin's understudy.[2][3] He and Chaplin arrived in the United States on the same ship from the United Kingdom with the Karno troupe
As the story follows Oliver's house is in a shambles after a wild party, and his wife is due home at noon. He calls Stanley to help him fix the place up. The typical catastrophes ensue, but Stanley somehow manages to complete the job by the time Oliver leaves to pick up his wife at the train station. As a finishing touch, Stan decides to start a nice fire in the fireplace, using a can of gasoline to hurry the process along.
And thank you for list of actors from the Hollywood bowl reaction video I did, in the comments, that’s where I found Laurel & hardy I will definitely check more of them out for reactions 😊

L&H are the best comedy duo that have ever existed. Stan Laurel, despite what the credits tell you, often wrote, directed and edited their films. He was an absolute genius. The bond these two have together on set is magical, they're like two naughty, but harmless kids who are best mates.
Check out: The Music Box, Busy Bodies, Towed in the Hole and Going Bye Bye for their "shorts", and Way Out West and Sons of the Desert for their features (about an hour).

I also love this old music! It was performed by Leroy Shields and was faithfully-reproduced by a modern group called "The Beau Hunks". It can be found right here on RUclips.

Laurel and Hardy are the G.O.A.T. No comedic act made me laugh more. The closest were The Three Stooges and Jim Carrey in his 90s prime.

Laurel and Hardy were wonderful, which made me laugh. So old and the humor still works. But also applies to other stars of this time, Marx Brothers, Charles Chaplin, Carry Grant and many others. Thank you very much.

For some reason, I thought he HAD to be talking to himself ......in a mirror. I used to watch these in the early 1960's on TV, late on a Friday night when I was a kid. No school on Saturday!!! Yay!!! I remember, still, every musical movie note and themes of these and LOVE it!!!! Talk about nostalgia and cozy TV!!!

The difference between Laurel and Hardy and others is they have a personal like/agitation relationship. in spite of all their troubles, they are truly friends. It isn't all name calling and eye poking and hitting like the Stooges, or constant verbal jabs, hitting, and play on words of Abbott and Costello. Laurel and Hardy were teamed up by Hal Roach and became a duo in silent movies at the end of the Silent era and beginning of the talkies. They were among the few that made a perfect transition from silent to talkie movies. Recently in 2018 a movie was made about them, released in 2019, called "Stan and Ollie" with some fictionalized elements in the script but some truthful things. About their last tour together in England in their old age. It was a very good, sweet movie with some key recreations of their movie skits done on stage, the story including their wives, a shifty manager, and the movie producer Hal Roach. In their later years these guys were buddies to the end. It'll make you laugh, and then cry. "Stan and Ollie." It was a great tribute to the almost completely forgotten and ignored greatest comedy duo. My late brother and I were very close, we loved watching Laurel and Hardy together on Sunday morning TV. There are two kinds of people: those who watch Laurel and Hardy and laugh, and those who expect comedy to be logical and based on "real life" and lose patience and don't get Laurel and Hardy. Those who expect logic out of comedy, and want verbal comedy all the time are ill equipped to handle personal failures and tragedy and live in the rapid fire wisecracks mental prison, for they watch "Americas Funniest videos" and don't realize they are actually watching the same thing that Laurel and Hardy did. The same people e who would watch ET fly on a bicycle the movies, and burst out and say "I'm sure...that would never happen. How stupid."

Their theme tune is pronounced 'Cuk oo' not 'Chak oo'. Cuckoo's are birds, sometimes found inside Swiss clocks.

Inika, there are some Laurel and Hardy movies that are still worth watching in their entirety but i tend to think a better way of watching them now is by viewing those compilations of all the best and most hilarious bits from all their films, there should be some on RUclips. BTW, my favourite sequence of theirs is from "Dirty Work" (1933) when Stan pulls Ollie down the chimney and then what happens to Ollie when he lands in the fireplace, that entire sequence is truly unmitigated comic genius beyond all imagining.
