I'm using art to dig myself out of my hole. Been healing from intense long-term complicated trauma. Art has been a huge part of my therapy and healing my soul. I was surprised to find out that I have a lot of natural talent. Which excited me. Especially because I am in a position right now where working is not an option because my healing is extremely important to me so I have the time. Haha! What great luck right! So I wanted to get even better. I joined a few different Facebook art groups where I came across Louise. Then I signed up for her free course this year and at the same time I was doing a local beginner watercolor course. I was so busy doing all of these art activities, how could I not find joy? I haven't felt joy in a long time, so this is all helping me so much. I am having a great time playing and experimenting with all sorts of mixed media in order to find out what I like and what I don't. I joined Louise's art tribe after because I didn't have the funds to take her full course. I have been binge watching all her videos then came across Georgina last night on one of her videos. I was laughing the whole time. Love your spirit! I have now been asked by my instructor to submit a few of my finished pieces for the local art show in January. Which of course I am going to do, because "Why not?" Haha! I am now seriously thinking because I love this so much. I am now going to pursue it being my full time gig. No worries about it going to fast or slow. I am confident that the right opportunities will come along at the right time! Plus, I am in a position at the moment that I can keep focusing on learning and experimenting to see what I can do without having to worry about housing. You both just make me so happy I just want to thank you both for your impact om my life over the last few months. I can now see some light coming from my situation.
Fabulous interview. I love the concept of 'being a conduit for what is needed by others'. It takes away the pressure when creating and selling art. Thank you both.
Love this! Yes, we argue for our limitations and as soon as Georgina said that, it felt incredibly dumb! Talking yourself down, instead of being open to your own possibilities. Thank you, wake up call :)
Thank you for the enlightening discussion! I loved the concept of us all being plugged into the larger consciousness and getting inspiration for creating something that is meant to be shared with others.
This interview was SO cool! I’ve been following the teachings of channeled instruction called “Abraham” for years. I was always intrigued, Louise, that your teaching is so aligned with that material. And now hearing Georgina speak, I’m convinced that she must have come in contact with that same material. Even the vocabulary is the same! Listening to this interview felt like coming home. I particularly appreciated discussion on selling art, because, frankly, I would feel embarrassed to sell water to a person dying of thirst. You and Georgina have given me a new way to look at it. Thanks!
Great interview! Georgina's bubbly enthusiasm, and her totally being aligned & understanding law of attraction (Esther Hicks) and her conversation relating to being an artist is exactly the pick me up I was asking for . Louise I love your approach to panting and am really enjoying your demos and your candor with painting. This was the best!!!!
I can create when I know I’m giving it. So “giving” it out there can be the same communication, even tho money will be involved. U are right, it’s got nothing to do with your inherent worth. Creating it means your part is finished.
