Ah Nixie, what a realistic D&D style charecter... 'Oh wait a minute I have a spare bag of holding and an inventory full of random stuff' as I've not looked at my inventory properly in months and am all about the pet rock... That is so true, especially of the more chaotic players.
I had mine full of magic nick knacks from fallen comrades, since I am one of the more or less original characters from when we started 15 years ago... that is a lot of stuff.
Although I keep wondering if I should have it turned into residium, then I keep thinking that it is better left of for another day.

We had a very chaotic player who put as many felled enemies as they could into a bag of holding which the DM allowed figuring they just wanted to be quirky. Over a year later they whipped ALL them out and did some crazy shenanigans with there very high level necromancy spells and it was so utterly unorthodox and the dm rule of cooled it. I regrettably didn't start playing with this group till after but I heard stories lol.
He saw the Bagman. Nixie better sleep with one eye open.
Nixie is so cute and Chaotic that I'm sure even "The Bagman" won't bother her.

One time, in this one campaign, I ended the world by stuffing 19 bags of holding into 1. Happened shortly after I fingured an owl bear with Mages Hand. The DM was mad...

I've never liked inventory limits in games. I have a mod for Skyrim that adds a "Haven Bag" a little bag you can climb inside and live in, it has lot's of storage. I have another one that adds a treasure chest home, because apparently I needed two. The treasure chest has a Khajiit trader living in it, hope he's not bored.
I fully agree with Nixie, those rocks are important, as is everything else!
There's a spell mod which gives you a chest you can summon, which acts more like a bag of holding. But I prefer the Haven mod because you can organize your stuff in the Haven (it's a room with multiple containers). You can't make a handy haversack mod because that would require reading the player's mind. So it's always a PITA searching through a chest trying to find what you want.

This makes me think... Why is it always assumed that if one player bothered to get a Bag of Holding, that it MUST be used as communal Storage? Nobody Tries to Yank the Rings of Protection off the Fighter's Finger, even though EVERYONE Could use it and in fact the Squishy Mages could probably use it more than the fighter... But for some reason "Oh, YOU have a Bag of Holding, Cool, we can ALL Shove our stuff in there to save space! This way *I* Can save money to get Gear to make myself stronger!"
Exactly, it's very presumptive to assume that 1 party member who happens to have a "Bag of Holding" should be the party Mule.
Anyway, that's partially why I decided that if I ever DMed for a group everyone would be given their own personal "Infinite Storage Space".
The strongest character carries the loot because they can carry more. If you get a magic item that makes you the best person to carry loot, you get to carry the loot

Maybe the real treasure in the Bag of Holding was the friends we made along the way? Also the pearls.
That's why the members of my party all had a Portable Hole (giggity!), but the NPC who sold them those had put an enchantment on line that prevented them from entering each other (giggity giggity goo!).
Putting a bag of infinite holdings into a bag of infinite holding is a nice way to begin describing, in math, how there are things greater than infinite.
0:30 - It's fairly well established that you can put living things IN a bag of holding, but they only stay living for a few hours. (Depending on size, mental state, and rate of respiration.) That cat isn't going to last very long in there.

Since the beginning of time we have always called these bags in D&D bags of hoarding. If we start at a low level we still have the poor man's bag of hoarding SADDLEBAGS!

Yeah, that totally makes sense, and they are certainly things that any sane person would collect. Who doesn't love a good rock and trilobites are cool.

That’s about right with me, though my inventory has cool collectibles, weapons and a ton of ammunition. Probably too much ammunition.
There comes a point where it's on you if you don't realize how much of a penalty Nixie gets for intelligence checks.

There is an anime, were the main character puts bag of holding into other bags of holding. And she has no problems, I think Nixies is broken. 😸
Oh yeah, that anime follows different laws. Bags of holding in D&D almost open to a separate 'void' dimension and they *don't* recommend putting another bag in it or flipping it inside out. There is also some lore about a creature that lives in the void between the bags of holding and that could exit the void through one of the bags (You can search D&D bagman, if you want to know more)
@TheKumaXKuma Yeah I figured D&D would be different, as for bagman. I have heard that before. I think it was mentioned in one of Crit Crabs videos.

I watched that anime, Weakest Tamer, it was really good! From the name I initially assumed it'd be another one of those trashy "my weak power is actually OP" power fantasy anime of which we seem to get several every season nowadays, but it was really just a heartwarming show about a little girl trying to scrape by and making friends.
Reminds me of Sseth's video when he plays Spacestation 13, and some bored clown puts a bag of holding into another bag of holding, creating a Black Hole.
