    I had no feelings for the guy I am dating right now. I had a blast talking to him. I did end up going out with him because when I asked around, I was hearing he was a great guy. They were right!!!

      @@ApplyGodsWordcomMarkBallengerHi Mark, do you have any info on being unequally yoked? I'm having trouble deciphering and he's saying he will walk away if I don't want to be with him. Just not sure.

    This is SUCH a Boss Christian Couple Channel. And, I don't just mean the advice, but the humor in it too. I couldn't agree more with all of the points made in another one of these videos, *ESPECIALLY* since the last thing that I ever want to "have" to keep doing, is finally meet that "one/woman" for ME over and over, etc., and then have to keep taking off and dash out of proximity each and every single, exhausting time I feel even the slightest tingle of a temptation about why I want or need her in my life, despite it really being *GOD's Will* , and that type of thing constantly going on won't exactly help us out together after going down the aisle either, and I know you know what I mean. Thanks again, Mark/AGW. *God Bless.* 👍

    Mark the book is so goood!! I read the whole first chapter last night, you’re right the chapters are short and sweet. Some of things that you wrote I knew were definitely directed to me lead by the Holy Spirit cause I was wrecked by some of the things you wrote about Naomi and her mindset. I’m speaking that truth over myself today. “Not to let my circumstances define me or my identity.”
    Even the part where you said if I had a little sister this is what I would tell her… stated crying lol. Thanks so much for being mine and many other sisters our big brother in Christ. May God bless you and your family beyond measure. ❤

    I am so appreciative I stumbled upon this video this morning! I was just thinking how I wanted to go back to my ex-husband and heard: "just because you're attracted to someone does not mean you're supposed to marry him." What eye- opening wisdom! We operate out of EMOTIONS----WRONG!!!!

    I don’t always have 100% peace in my relationship so this confirms that I don’t need to always I just have a lot of growing to do with God considering my eyes started to wander in my relationship

    • @ApplyGodsWordcomMarkBallenger
      @ApplyGodsWordcomMarkBallenger  3 дня назад +7

      yes, as the relationship gets more serious the peace should increase. You should only marry someone once you feel totally at peace about that choice. But in early dating and such it's not realistic to feel at peace about the distant future. If you continue to feel not at peace, that is a sign something is off. Also, conviction or a lack of peace from God will feel different. But if it's just normal unknowns and slight anxiousness, that is to be expected. God bless!

      @@ApplyGodsWordcomMarkBallenger do you think it’s possible for God to tell me to leave my 3 and a half year relationship to go to another man?

    • @babblesp1367
      @babblesp1367 3 дня назад +1

      I agree with being at peace. I’m living with someone, but I do not feel at peace. In fact, as time goes on, it feels less and less peaceful.

    • @levijohnson7
      @levijohnson7 2 дня назад

      @@karenac670there’s a lot of factors that are involved in that question. For starters, why be in a 3 and a half year relationship and not be happy? I couldn’t imagine adults dating for 3+ years without even a thought of engagement. I personally doubt I would date someone for that long and not even be engaged.
      The question of God telling you to leave is complex. It would be more so the fact you and your partner aren’t on the same page. But you should try to work things out. It’s not right to give up on something that could be what God has in store for the both of y’all. 3 and a half years is such a long time! Talk to your significant other, and if he cannot listen or is in a bad headspace that’s a different matter. I can say as a man though, a woman who would be in a long-term relationship with me feeling like she could find another guy would be very much a sign for me that I’m either doing something wrong, or the relationship should not have lasted that long to begin with. It’s very sad to hear about those situations and I have found they usually only get that way because the 2 people don’t know how to love biblically. Or they just are selfish and choose themselves over a course of months and it adds up over time! I hope you get some clarity on this, but just remember not to make your feelings the deciding factor in this. Instead realize why you are feeling the way you are and use the facts.

    Brother, your ministry has been helping me greatly. I think I am one of your first subscribers years back and I even received a free e-book from you.
    Just about a couple of weeks ago, I started exploring a relationship with a godly man in the ministry. We are still in the getting to know stage, have come from different countries, both in our late 30s. Now that marriage might be in the picture (though it might not be in the picture eventually, The Lord knows 😅), and recent seemingly scandalous events by church leaders,
    I am wondering how you navigate having this online ministry with women as perhaps your largest "sheep"? What boundaries should men set when having to communicate and serve women on these platforms? How could their wives help them?
    Or what can we do while in the courtship/dating/engagement stage to prepare for marriage so that our marriage would stay pure and holy.
    Thank you so much and no need for an immediate response here. Videos would help if ever, since I watch almost all the videos in this channel as soon as I open my RUclips . The Lord bless you, your family and your ministry, brother! Thank you for all you do to serve us. 🙏

      Personally, I never meet with a woman one-on-one in person. I also use email coaching or written correspondence because it keeps a record it case anyone ever makes a wild accusation against me. If I ever did video counseling, I would get consent to record it for the same purposes. The point is, I think the best thing we can do is not put ourselves into those compromising situations to begin with. An affair might seem impossible to many men in ministry, but if you take a thousand steps in the wrong direction, it can happen to anyone. The best way to avoid that long journey that finally ends in an affair is to avoid taking even the first step even though you would have to take 999 more to actually have an affair. I think of Peter, "Lord, I would never betray you!" Well, by denying the possibility that he could, he took the first step towards it. So my point is, people often mock the boundaries Christian married men have. But it's not that we don't spend time with other women because we are afraid we will instantly slip and have an affair. Rather, being alone with other women is just not the pattern we should create for ourselves as Christian men. Patterns over the years lead to distant destinations. So making sure you don't even crack that door is the best to avoid a distant failure that seems impossible at this point in life. For me, I like helping women understand a man's perspective and the Bible's teachings, but I think it's best done through general teachings like through videos, articles, and books rather than talking to a bunch of women one-on-one. I wouldn't even want the appearance of that type of thing. Just my thoughts!

    I'm a black guy and I'm not only attracted to but I'm also in love with Asian oriental women and I have an extremely strong desire to meet one and hopefully marry her, it's not just a physical attraction as yes I love how these women look as I find them to be so incredibly beautiful but also I love their culture, food, media, art I even get excited when I hear something is from one of those countries, yes so I love the women from these countries Japan, Korea, China, Hong Kong, Thailand etc, and like I said I love a lot of their culture's the first 4 in particular and the first one I'm attached to the most but I don't mind as much so I've been searching for, along with praying to God that one of these women is the one who he has chosen for me 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾, I prefer Japan as I love their culture and media the most as I'm an otaku loving anime, and I'm the most familiar with their language as I believe I can speak it, I'm not so good with the others but I could try and learn how to speak a bit.
