According to German and Uk sources it flew like a clog as well, underpowered and a sitting duck for any kind of fighter.
Exactly. It wasn't a very successful design and was surpassed by the Do 24.
Bv 138s were good German seaplane aircraft they were used in Atlantic Mediterranean, English channel

Are those fully-modeled panel lines? Just how many polys does this monster have o.o
The aircraft might well sink upon landing from all that damage to the underside of the fuselage.
And it was powered by 2 stroke Jumo Diesel engines.
