I still keep coming back to this demo even after 3 years of seeing it the first time. One of the best demos for these pickups out there. Phenomenal playing too. Thank you!!
Yeah, it's my third visit to this demo... 1. Because I'm still deciding what pups to update my PRS with and because... 2. Well I just had to listen to this song again... And again... And again.
At last a guitar played as it should be and sounding sublime in every aspect ! British quality build and sonics at it's very best Thank you BK and John Huldt
Awesome guitarist .... sweet playing within the whole song .. he kept me totally interested and engaged melodically. You know a great guitarist by how easy they make it look. But the greatest guitarists do that and play with great taste in melody arrangement, movements and structure ... hats off to you.
I'm still watching this... This has got to be my favorite instrumental jam I've heard yet. So good! What kills me is how effortless you make it look. You never look strained at all. You would see veins popping out in my arms at some point if I ever learned to play like this. Major props!
"most incredible guitar arrangement ever written" Ummm...no. Really good stuff no doubt. Some serious shredding. But the most incredible guitar arrangement in human history?
The "Abraxas" Bare Knuckle pickups are simply fantastic and make this Epiphone Les Paul sound even better than a Gibson thanks above all to guitarist John Huldt who is monstrously talented and of a truly superfine taste!!! "Chapeau"!!!
As @bridge500t said below...I keep coming back to this demo. I want a bridge pickup that has bite, and clarity, and while there's not as much riffing in this demo, there's enough there to really get me excited about putting a pair of these in my LP.
This outstanding demo sent a set of Abraxas straignt into my Epi LP Custom. Eargasm each time I crank up the gains knob on my small Marshall. These pickups are top notch, well worth the price.
What pickups were spec'd for the custom one off guitar by Toa Guitars. Their web page lists the guitar as the Phaeton. I first heard the guitar with BKP demo by Brice Delage. The Abraxas pickups sound great. John Huldt's playing is inspiring. Thanks
That just left me absolutely stunned! Every thing Fusion could sound like. This guy had rock, blues and country in 1. Not Steve Morse type of fusion but his own thing which made it even more incredible.
Nice! would also be nice to see the signal chain... Guitar/pickups, into what? Pedals? Amp? Etc. That way we could all see just how much "pickup" is involved in getting, "said tone." Thanks, and again... Nice!
Great, Thank you for mentioning the other gear used. It is vital when doing a demo, so the viewer can incorporate in need be, the duplication of your tone. I feel gypped AND LIED TO when this is not done. Thank you. Great and thorough work.
I personally own the abrades bridge in my chambered warmth strat! Phenomenal humbuggy! BKP , you guys rock! I also have a demo in my channel , case anybody wants to check it on a strat.
So beautiful of sounds dude Have one Custom Gibson, not yet get the pick up set. Yours very impressive pick up.... if enough in cash will take one from your stuff
Awesome demo ! I am about to buy The mule set for my Bacchus Duke( pickup’too harsh, lack of warmth and bass !)...Is the mule pickup round, fat enough in the bass frequencies ? I have GIBSON muddy sound in my head but want a BKP set !!!! What is your point of view against Gibson ones ? Thanks for your answer ! Kind regards from France
Sound amazing! Have you experimented with coil splitting these? I'm looking for a good humbucker for a HSH setup in my Strat, and and I'm wondering how they'd sound for a pseudo-single coil tone.
I would definitely choose the edge and bite of the Riff Raff for punk playing. It's got that bit more of a hard edged attitude and a crisper pick attack; great for a more choppy, aggressive tone.
WOW....the bite and articulation is outstanding (the playing was stellar, as well....kinda reminds me a bit of Andy Timmons). What amp were you running though, if you don't mind me asking? Incredibly well done, brother. WOW.
Someone get this guy a damn beer. Came for the pickups... stayed for the song!
This demo sold the Abraxis to me, and I love them! I still can't play like this, though; simply marvelous!
Uhhhh that was jaw dropping awesome. I forgot I was listening to the pickup.
right?
Isn't that a negative, as far as the purpose of the video is concerned...
Same!!
I still keep coming back to this demo even after 3 years of seeing it the first time. One of the best demos for these pickups out there. Phenomenal playing too. Thank you!!

Which one did you end up with? Cheers!
Probably the most beautiful pickup demo I've ever heard. Just unreal composition and performance. Has me totally rethinking my next pickup swap, too.
Sensational demo, I have had a set in my secondhand PRS 22 Artist for the past 8 years and they make it come alive with a real character of its own.
That may be the mostbeautiful guitar tone thatI have heard !!!!! Wow... Thank you !
At last a guitar played as it should be and sounding sublime in every aspect ! British quality build and sonics at it's very best Thank you BK and John Huldt
Brilliant! And the pickups? Gonna have to listen to it again because, well, I got lost in the song! LOL

What we asked for: pick up demo
What we got: most incredible guitar arrangement ever written.
😂
I thought so also-Beautiful.......
"most incredible guitar arrangement ever written"
Ummm...no. Really good stuff no doubt. Some serious shredding. But the most incredible guitar arrangement in human history?
@@MeTuLHeD it was just an expression my guy.

I'm new to Bareknuckle pickups. Just installed a Black Dog in the bridge and a VHII in the neck of my LP. Really brought that guitar to life.
+Chuck Shook I'm pleased to hear it!
John is an absolute monster player and hell of a nice guitar. Outstanding playing and demo. :)
Holy hell I could listen to this all day
Me too. Dropped it into my ipod.
Amazing tone and beautiful playing. Well done.
Wow! Great playing, incredible tone!
I’ve return to this demo all the time- it’s so good. Haven’t pulled the trigger on a set 😂
Excellent sound and playing. Those pickups sound super close to my Gibson custom shop PAFs. Blessings.
Great guitarist. Darn, I liked the Emerald and love the Mule, now I have to consider the Abraxas too!
Watched this a bunch….every time I just appreciate it more and more 🤘
Good pickups.
Good guitarist.
Good song.
I’m saving this video just so I can listen to that over and over. Crazy good.
I forgot this was a pickup demo! Absolutely amazing arrangement!
This is not a genre of music I would usually listen to but I can quit playing it on repeat. Such and awesome tune!!
Great tones, great playing.

Incredible player that could make a wet sock sound killer.
Bravo
House of Cards. Nice shirt. Great show. Oh and the playing was awesome too!
The playing was refreshing AF.

Hope I can get in the Santana ballpark with these as the name would imply
What a boss! Great tone and playing. Soulful and Righteous!
Nice Epiphone, Great Sound!
Great Demo!
So good i can’t think of anything else to say except wow

Only a fixed bridge can sound like that! So stable!! Less time on string change too
This is incredible.
great Player! Incredible Sound - fun to listen! 👍👍👍
Great tone great player
Wow...Awesome playing...and those pups aren't bad either.
Killer tones ... fantastic

Why the scare quotes?
Awesome, congrats to the player
You are blessed my friend.
Where can I learn to play that?????
Some exceptional and inventive playing.

Where did he mention the other gear?
Wow great playing ! Forgot I had come here to se the pickups demo :-)
Based on this demo, I just bought a set of the Bare Knuckle Abraxas for my PRS Bernie Marsden. Thanks!
Enjoy!
Excellent! love how it completely built up from nothing to this amazing finish; and then the harp harmonics at the end, wow. Much respect...
I personally own the abrades bridge in my chambered warmth strat! Phenomenal humbuggy! BKP , you guys rock! I also have a demo in my channel , case anybody wants to check it on a strat.
Holy shit!
I absolutely love listening to this.....tone, playing and great technique
So much tone from those fingers!!
Fantastic arrangement.
No shit--just had BN Abraxas installed on my LP this past week. Played a show Saturday. These pickups are what you hope for!
Dayum amazing playing and demo why have I never heard these ?
respect: taste, chops, timing.. and tone
Perfect composition, sound and skills!
So beautiful of sounds dude
Have one Custom Gibson, not yet get the pick up set. Yours very impressive pick up.... if enough in cash will take one from your stuff
Awesome sound and great playing man!
freakin awesome solo!
I suspect you could make ANYTHING sound great!
Hello, do you have a demo of Abraxas on a PRS CU24? I heard that these pickups were voiced to work well with that guitar
Beautiful by the
way!
Nice playing dude just about to order these pickups

I really want to try out bare knuckles.. maybe cold sweat neck.. and maybe this abraxis as a bridge.. ? but what amp and effects are being used HERE?
Superb demonstration. BKP doing what they do best.
It'a just a shame they have to be *so* expensive! Dare I say...
*Exclusive even...*
That was really good!!
this dude is a god! holy shit!
Any chance there is music written for this avail for purchase ? Would love to learn, but having issues duplicating. Thanks.
The intro arpeggios I feel I know so well but I still can not figure out where from at this time.
Have you ever seen the movie..The Labyrinth? I'm certain it's a very similar chord progression to one of the songs on the soundtrack.
The 1986 movie? I will check it out thanks.
I have a HSS Strat and thinking of putting the abraxas pickups in the bridge.
Dude! you killed it!
Amazing!!
Wow I love you're tone. I just bought a set! What amp did you use in this video? Thanks! 👍
Love your T-shirt
this guy is astonishing
Yep Mr Huldt sold me Abraxas... and this is for a strat... it is too good to sound bad in a strat
Emre Emre on the website it says that the Abraxas suits brighter guitars, so it’d probably fit even better in a strat
Stunning sound he has there. Perfect in every way. What effects did he use?
Best demo they have. Solid as f
Phenomenal!
Take a Bow SIR

Wow...that was incredible...
What kind of capacitor youre using here?
Wow! & Wow! Again
Which one is best suited to punk? Trying to decide between these and the riff raff set.
I would definitely choose the edge and bite of the Riff Raff for punk playing. It's got that bit more of a hard edged attitude and a crisper pick attack; great for a more choppy, aggressive tone.
@@BKPickups Thanks for the quick response! Much appreciated! Will be ordering the riff raff set in the near future!
2:02 what technique is that??
Muted pull offs.

Holy. Crap.
Can’t go wrong with BK
Got Stormy Monday & Abraxas
looking forward to M Queen
Btw, are you sure he is not a super cool robot ?
We have met in real life and no, we're not sure, definitely could be a robot
@@BKPickups Possible BioTecRobot , just drop a bitcoin into that slot 😂
Beastmode!!
Sounds like a burst bucker mixed with a good boutique PAF clone
