You can tell a ton of time went into this, great job
This should be a new series. Just like this. 45 minutes long. Exploring and learning a new areas. Just amazing series
I will say it. The best fishing RUclips editing I have seen. I can only imagine how much time, effort, and Pain that was to make. I surely hope you make more series like this! Wonder if you have went back to try and slay some more big Crappie in the Creek?
"Fisherman"YouExplain this video so well good job brother. He did a great job editing.I can see him producing a big time Movie. He is very talented.
It's good but the best ever? Stretch limousine
You really captured the essence of what fishing is to myself and many others. Fishing isn’t the act of simply catching fish, it’s the connection with nature, the exploration of new locations. Really well filmed, this was an amazing documentary, thank you!
Next time you get into Stinging Nettle look around for Touch-Me Not or Jewelweed plants. Break the plant stem and rub it on the affected area. It also works on Poison Ivy as well in a pinch. There are 2 different species. Pale Touch-Me Not which has yellow flowers and Spotted Touch-Me-Not which has orange flowers. They usually grow close to or right next to Stinging Nettle
Thank you internet man 😄
Dude this was awesome! The storytelling, the views and angles, the music, the defeat an triumph. It had it all! Great job man!!
nahhhh the production quality on this is crazyyyyyyyy!!!
Stinging Nettles are the worst! What a trooper! The Passion Of The Fish!
This is a wonderful video with gorgeous views, and a very nice ending, too! (Glad your little brother - who's not so little anymore - got to catch a fish.) Thanks for sharing this with us.
I'd like to see you switch it up, get a net and start catching Butterflies. LOL Great video Brendan
Another great video. You are still my favorite RUclips channel. You are a film maker who happens to be a fisherman.
We are going to need more documentary’s they are awesome
This is the best entertainment fishing RUclips channel.
Tyler’s reel fishing is probably the best for learning new techniques etc. but this is the best overall fishing channel I think 🤷🏼♂️👍🏼
Same but I wish he posts more he posts one video every 1 or 2 months
Wow that was a great documentary. I really enjoyed your longer vid. You do a great job of capturing your audiences attention with the detail you bring to your outings. It really makes me want to get out there and explore even more ! Great job as usual !
Thanks for taking us along.
Genius, I've watched your film by myself and with my fishing buddy . Thank you for creating this .
Now, that was an ultimate fishing adventure. Thanks!!!
So awesome!!! I need to watch it again.
I've been waiting forever for you to make another film. I'm very excited and can't wait to watch. Off to the video.
Your photography is MIND😮😮BLOWING!!!! I found a area much smaller than this in Pike County Mississippi. The Boca Chitto River would overflow, leaving all sorts of fish stranded in a pond. I loved fishing in it, because I never knew what I might catch😂😊😅
Awesome filming and editing. Thank you for the perseverance and taking us all on an exploring adventure. RIP gopro and tripod. Also, hat tip to your little brother for filling in as cameraman.
Yes! Very nice! I have been waiting for this
Awesome video! Love seein you explore and enjoy the longer videos. Beautiful editing too!!
This is a great video. Well done, very well done. Thoroughly enjoyable.

Loved the video Brendan!
Amazing editing and photography!
Great job man..... Thanks ferrrr showin' ana sharin' !
"Life's a journey; not a destination." It's not the destination you are trying to reach that makes the journey interesting or exciting. It's the experiences you have along the way that makes the journey exciting.
Best video I have seen you do and I’ve been watching since you were like 13. Great job!
Impressive cinematography my friend! You are blessed!
Just found your channel. This is some of the coolest content and your personality is dope. Keep it up! Looking forward to more stuff
You did a good job on this DOC keep up the good work
Great video man!
I have to say I yelled, "Stinging Nettles!" when I saw you walking. I have run afoul of them myself while fishing and hiking here in Nebraska.🥵
Love these!
Great video buddy!
This deserves more views and great story good job
Respect the cinematography 💯
Amazing creator. This was beautiful.
This looks super cool and I am still in the first few minutes of the documentary
Great Job!!
Very nice, loved it..
hey Brendan your my favorite RUclipsr no amount of words could describe how happy I was when you posted
Love this! Been watching for many years. Still to this day every time I see your video I think of the song “Spring in my Step by Silent Partner”
I don't understand why don't you have a million subs... Your content is so top notch man and the way you speak to the camera is awesome. Kick butt 👍👍👍
Great entertainment. Well done!
What a great intro!
Great video bro🤜❤
Early hi awesome crappie and bass that you caught i bet a crappie catch and cook would be cool because that old place has fish that probably aren’t stocked
Awesome documentary
this deserves more attention
I know you have a long hike back to the car but you missing the best time to fish which is right at dusk that’s when the monsters start moving great content my dude
Great documentary Brendan loving the flow in some of those beautiful rivers, camping would be cool there but I'm guessing it's a dangerous spot for that.
Wow, that looks like a great fishing hole. It would be worth it be worth going in and spending the day with a sling blade and cutting your good path out so you can get back there he’s leaving you wouldn’t get all itchy with him weeds and stuff. Love watching your show.😊☀️
Hey Brendan I’d like to say that I own the same backpack you’ve been using and whenever I’m going through wet terrain it has a rain cover tucked away in a pocket located on the bottom of the side that touches your back.
Great videos keep it up
Excellent work, Brendan!
I thought from the trailer clip that you were taking us back to South America. But, now that I've seen the documentary, that looks like August or September in Ohio. 🌞
You really put some work into this project. I hope you got some joy out of it. 🙂 We witnessed some of the pain and heartache. 😕
Lost lures are par for the course when you're casting into the places where the fish lurk.
But broken rods and lost cameras (and footage) are harder to accept.
Kudos to you for persevering! 👍🏼
And the stinging nettles! 🥴
OUCH!
I think I'd have worn long sleeves and gloves and maybe a face covering in spite of the warm temperatures for that section of the hike. But you got through it.
Thanks for sharing your experience with us. Keep up the great work!
Please make more documentaries like this!!
17 leeches and 40 ticks later we have this masterpiece of an adventure video =D
That river probably holds some good fish that you had to cross. Id personally be fishing that
This looks so fun to me! =D
Your a go getter love your show !!!!
Man this was an incredible fishing documentary to watch! Some toad crappie! This definitely makes me want to make better vids myself and maybe a fishing documentary one day!
Excellent work my friend. Now I'm satisfied for the time being on your film work. But when will the next one be coming out? Lol Keep up the hard work sir.
Guys like uppp. This is the best fishing video on yt and it doesn’t even have 1k likes. 😢
This documentary reminded me of a remote fishing spot that I found on google maps...it was basically a swampy backwater on a tidal river system and it was surrounded by a swampy forest with thick, thorny vegetation. I don't know if it had ever been fished before, but it was the first place where I caught a truly big bass. The place also had chain pickerel, crappie, bluegill, and bowfin. Unfortunately, the spot has declined in recent years, but it definitely had an air of mystery around it
Thank you for not hurting the snake. It's so sad they're demonized. I thought it looked pretty majestic climbing that tree
Would have been interesting to see the log jams form. Great video!! Nice job. Sorry for your GO PRO lost.
Great video , many of us fisherman can relate to this.
I think you're going try to make a video fishing for a go-pro😮.....AWESOME video stilll.
Gonna watch your Alaskan trip again Sunday. Happy Easter.
I enjoyed your documentary .....I have a little honey hole like this that is completely isolated like that and this video has me wanting to go to it lol
For brush and nettle, if you get a decent piece of spare wood or piping tie or knot rope on both ends, like you're trying to wearing it like a sling. You can then walk through brush by stepping onto the post while holding onto the rope. If you make it wide enough it will make a little trail for you. No hooks in camera men or nettle to the forearms.
brilliant. try and put dedicated float on gopro that works with any tripod attached too. saves you $300
I can relate to this fisherman a lot since I do crazy exploration like this and I don’t have a fancy boat 😂
Can’t wait to watch this later with some popcorn and coffee 🍿☕43 minutes of Brendan Miller 😮
I totally would've went in for the GoPro!
Greatness
I really love your show your so much into it keep up the good work sorry about the camera .
Get a night lantern. Also, get some trophy bass by procure to draw bass in. 😊 that way during the summer you can catch nice bass. Early spring especially up north still to cool to night fish
