When I was in my twenties, my local nightclub barred me.. Fair enough, I did punch their bouncer. (Midleton, Cork Ireland) But in my defense, and the law agreed with me, because I was never charged. The bouncer said "not tonight Lad!" I said "what?!?" You've had too much to drink. I said "I'm barely drunk! I've never caused any problems here and I've never been in any fights?!" Anyway he wasn't having any of it. So I started acting drunker than I was.. I noticed the police/Garda pulling up. So I started saying to the bouncer "look, I'm not going to fight anyone, but the way you're acting, you'd swear I was dick! I said look at you now, you're taking a stance like I'm about to fight you. But I've never been a problem, this is the only nightclub around, why would I start a fight with you or anyone. I said your six bouncer friends would kill me, once I hit you. 🎯 He didn't realize that I knew the cops were fifty feet behind me, So then he grab his bow tie and took it off, suggesting that if we did fight, they wouldn't fight, it would just be me against him.. I took this all quickly into account and looked at me as if to say 'let's fight!' and he drop his bow tie to the floor.. 💥🥊 I hit him (it's was just a jab, with my weak hand, but it was fast!) before his bow tie hit the ground.. he moved back and his bouncer friends jump on me, I was probably hit a few times, but then they all held me, and that main bouncer I was arguing with, grabbed me by the throat, and he choked me, right in front of the police. On one hand, i’ve learned “imitation is the highest form of flattery” but on the other; if being authentic inspires others to follow that path? My job is done. I regularly journal and that helps me so much. I’m not interested in the superficial and temporary things this life/world has to offer. I Seek a higher calling. It’s exciting to me because you learn something new every single day.

When I was in my twenties, my local nightclub barred me..
Fair enough, I did punch their bouncer. (Midleton, Cork Ireland) But in my defense, and the law agreed with me, because I was never charged.
The bouncer said "not tonight Lad!"
I said "what?!?"
You've had too much to drink.
I said "I'm barely drunk! I've never caused any problems here and I've never been in any fights?!"
Anyway he wasn't having any of it.
So I started acting drunker than I was.. I noticed the police/Garda pulling up.
So I started saying to the bouncer "look, I'm not going to fight anyone, but the way you're acting, you'd swear I was dick! I said look at you now, you're taking a stance like I'm about to fight you. But I've never been a problem, this is the only nightclub around, why would I start a fight with you or anyone. I said your six bouncer friends would kill me, once I hit you. 🎯
He didn't realize that I knew the cops were fifty feet behind me,
So then he grab his bow tie and took it off, suggesting that if we did fight, they wouldn't fight, it would just be me against him..
I took this all quickly into account and looked at me as if to say 'let's fight!' and he drop his bow tie to the floor..
💥🥊 I hit him (it's was just a jab, with my weak hand, but it was fast!) before his bow tie hit the ground.. he moved back and his bouncer friends jump on me, I was probably hit a few times, but then they all held me, and that main bouncer I was arguing with, grabbed me by the throat, and he choked me, right in front of the police. I woke up face down on the hood of the cop 🚨 car.
This bouncer had been known for choking people like this, which is very dangerous and could cause a pulmonary embolism.. I even had bruises on my throat..
Anyway in the police station they asked me what happened, I told them, and I said check the cameras, he started it, it was like one of you saying to me "let's fight" and then you throw down your badge as a challenge.
I said "Don't get mad at me, if you get hit before your badge hits the ground..😬
They realized they had to let me go free..
That bouncer was eventually fired, but I'm not sure was totally based on my fight with him alone.
But I never let that 🛑 stop me.. next weekend, I walked up to nightclub and they said I was barred for life. 😱
So I walked around the back, called someone on the inside and had them open an emergency exit, I rushed in, and I knew bouncers were coming, so I saw the two bathrooms in front of me, and instead of going into the men's, I ran into the ladies toilets and a chick I didn't know was in there doing her makeup, so I said "I need to hide, can you please help me hide??"
She said "No problem!"
We both went into a bathroom stall and closed the door, I said up on the toilet hiding me feet, then one of the bouncers looked in.. he didn't see me and moved on.
That was just the first time I successfully snuck in.. and I kept on sneaking in for more than a year after that, they could never stop me. I could easily scale the high walls they had, and I always had help on the inside. Plus we always varied our tactics..
Some nights, a bouncer would see me, but then I'd disappear into the crowd, and they would spend the rest of the night looking for me, but they could never find me..
This is just another true tale from my life, and another reason why one of my nicknames is 🗝️ Dodge.
