Hiking Up an Active Volcano - Acatenango, Guatemala

After a difficult 6h of climbing up 1500m, we had finally made it to the top of the volcano. Once we reached base camp the weather took a turn for the worst. Thankfully waking up at 4am I got to witness the best sunrise I have ever seen. Getting clear skies and a view of all of Guatemala from coast to coast was a once in a lifetime experience.

What hostel did you stay in ? And what tour company did you use for acentago

I stayed at Hostel Antigueno which was a pretty good hostel. I went with Soy Tours which was 500Q

That 500Q charge was way too much, the average rate is around 300
