Love the fact that she doesn't follow the TED formula of "happy talk" which has become really old. The talk is compelling, firstly, because what she says is so true (I have an idiot boss who is a duck speaker and who uses buzzwords all of the time to hide his incompetence), and secondly, she is just such a good speaker.
In the Beginning, was the Word. And the Word was a device, to colour the imagination, to stroke the ego. And to manipulate the heart so as to exploit the body.
I thought that her presentation was above average, and certainly adequate for a TED Talk speaker. Presentation aside, the content of this talk was relevant, poignant, and focused.
Such clear mind deserves so much more attention. To bad we live in times where we wrongly apply the term "Less is more" to everything

False-ese is also an emotional protection, even allowing oneself to avoid knowing what one actually is feeling.
