This is one cool car proper monster powered by a 3.2 engine and car weighing next to nothing I had a 2011 tt was only 1.8 but went like the wind my neighbour had a 3.2 tt the thing sounded awesome proper sports car
I have a 2008 3.2 manual in Cape Town South Africa with 120 000 km on clock. As new. Love it. Just bought a new RS TT roadster in red.. It's a Hooligan.. But will never let go of my 3.2 Will do exhaust and brake upgrade . Visit met in Cape Town
Ha ha, thanks for the invite! A 2 x mk2 TT person!? Wow, you must really like them. The RS roadster sounds lovely. You should do a back to back comparison and tell us the differences. Cheers
You have to see my 3.2 Audi TT it’s on another level. Nice video man good stuff. My PCV just gone in mine. Common for our cars but a nightmare have to change the whole rocker cover and gasket :(
@@damos_cars to be fair I have had the car for 4 years and always been amazing. The PCV valve is the only problem I have encountered so far. Deleting the rear back box gives the car the most amazing sound. Reduces weight and better power to or on eBay you can delete the middle silencer, they make a pipe for our car £60 very easy to fit 5 mins for incredible sound and more power also.
Thanks for interesting material and updates. I'm thinking of buying one of these but they're SO much more expensive in the USA. What do you think about using one as a daily for 25,000 miles/year? Do you think the ride would be too harsh? Seems to crash over railway crossings etc. Is fitted with 18" run flat tyres and no spare. Any thoughts on that? Finally, I'm not sure if you've modified later videos but the music level is very high compared with the sound level of your voice. The type of music is very distracting and detracts from the overall presentation. In my opinion your production would be better without music at all... Just my .02..
@@damos_cars Thank you... I'm oh so tempted, but I'm likely going to have to err on the side of caution, thinking about some of the dirt roads and rural properties I have to visit, year round. It's such a shame but I think a car like this particular one needs to continue being used as a fun car where one can choose the roads one takes it on.
Hey Beth, see the other videos for more info on the exhaust, its a Scorpion Red non-res catback system, wheels were TTRS replicas. Thanks for watching. Enjoy!
Really liked the video I am looking at used Audis and having a tough time making up my mind: TTS, TT with S line pk or regular TT.......any opinion will be welcomed!
It depends I suppose. What will you use the car for, whats the budget etc? Then I'd look more closely at specs, options, mileage, history and condition. You'll always find the best car don't hit the market. A lot will go directly to new owners via clubs and Facebook groups - worth spending some time on them.
I was going to buy a mk3 tt but looking at your mk2 quatro and the info tech upgrade has made me think again. Add the fact that you only spent 5k. Maaaan it is worth a long look. Am I right in thinking you have spent 5k in fixes and upgrades?
Well the price of good ones has gone up a bit. I just sold this one actually. The point remains thought that it does offer a lot of car for not much money at all. Good luck with your search!
Grill - OEM or aftermarket. Go RS OEM ideally but not cheap. Whole bumper has to come off to fit properly and bumper plate behind grill will need painting otherwise it stands out. Wheels, go for after market OEM blades. RS look for not much money. Remapping - I've only done the basic APR tune on this 3.2 but there a lots of options out there for the turbo'd cars. APR, REVO etc. Hope that helps.
@@damos_cars fair point. And then after covering all the interesting stuff, like interior lights and plstic covers, you just mention an APR tune at the end, and no details????? WTF????
Good job patching up this great car, V6 TT is pretty sweet and love that red interior!
Thanks buddy!!

I have 2008 vr6 tt and won’t let it go rebuilding the car 🚙 from bottom up 🔝 really great car better then our r8 v8 08 gated but not by much 😜
Oh well it is nice to have that choice right?!
Good looking man with passion to his TT

Make sure you get some more coolant in there, big dawg
Will do..
What are the differences of the 2008 Audi TT 3.2 naturally aspirated Quattro & MK2 ?
Not sure I follow this 2008 TT is a mk2..?

Hello, lovely car, what are the alloys you have and which exhaust? Thank you

Any thoughts on the APR map? From what I hear it’s not a big difference, just sort of polishes the torque curve and sharpens throttle response.
It's actually going to be the subject of my next video to go live this Saturday. Except I think you just stole the punchline. ;-) Stay tuned!

Did you have to remove the old phone holder before fitting the blank plate? And where was the blank plate from?
Ripped the old phone out yep. Blank plate came from ebay. Nice item. OEM. Clipped right in...
@@damos_cars great, thanks for your help! Using your vids a lot lately so thanks!
What are the size of your wheels. And what size tires do you have.
19" wheels, after market blade / RS style. Will check tyre size and edit the comment. Thanks for watching.
Does the strong head unit have dab? Do you need a different aerial?
No DAB, same FM aerial. If you want more music just do it over a data connection and tune in.
Can you help with my Audi TT, please?
How can I help?
