I would highly recommend the mii you control be an elf. It will take a long while to grind, but it is worth it. The elf is a jack of all trades character which is really handy because sometimes you can't count on your party to do what you want. But the elf can heal, do aoe damage, and the real greatest part is the barrier. Putting a barrier on an ally is a permenant boost that gives major damage reduction. Once your whole party has barriers you have basically already won.
I whole heartedly agree. Elf is extrememely busted. The reason I neglected it in both this and the tower of dread video is because at the time I hadn't ever tried it + I wanted to not use elf or vampire because that would take a lot of grinding and I wanted for it to not require that much grinding. It still does for the full 50 but we all know that grinding a job from 0 to 50 is a pain in the ass without a lucky roulette layout.

On my third full playthrough of the game, I beat it first try, deathless, and sprinkleless all simultaneously! For the personalities and war cries I gave them, I tried to make it close to their canon selves as I could (for example, I gave one of my mages the phrase "I hate you!" A recurring line from that same character.
The only thing about this was the Elite Goblins, the Neon Pharaohs casting a curse on my Miis, the Top Burgers eating my Miis and the Lighter Lord’s Tower of Flame attack. The Red Fiend just got Stun-Locked with Dancing Arrow from my main Miis and my Cleric used Righteous Anger to kill the Fiend.

I bet this with an energetic chef, laid back mage, kind cleric and kind warrior. (All level 50) It is SUPER easy to get rid of red fiend with insta kill attacks, I myself was surprised that worked when my cleric did that the first time lol
In my tower of despair gameplay, I used a vampire (me), a cleric, an imp and a scientist. The vampire uses enthrall to make the teammates use ressurection.
