    Nightmare throne and phantom have only been released in OCG. TCG hasn’t released them. I just got back into yugioh and I was going to do a branded Ab deck. But for some reason when phantom nightmare dropped made me want to make a yubel deck because everyone is doing the fire snake eyes crap. Which is incredible now because snake eyes was $70 now it’s $15.

      How so?

    • @kendrip6960
      @kendrip6960 5 месяцев назад +1

      First off, I wouldn't play Piri Reis. You die harder to Droll this way which disables more of your other additional plays, and you lose harder to time if you play Swiss. I'd swap it for Talents as it's a hardcore staple.
      One Infernal Grave Squirmer is not a good number. You want to see that one going in more often as it's not JUST some combo piece but as a valuable extender. Up that card to 2-3 and you'll find it more comfy. Plus it acts as another Sharvara which can dodge single target hand traps.
      Three Phantom of Yubels are overkill. You'd be better off playing two as you can potentially recycle one via Rage, Anguish, or Nightmare Throne for grind, even though the deck doesn't need much to begin with. I'd swap one for Dragostapelia because that one is a CLUTCH BUTTON as a Super Poly target.
      And speaking of Super Poly, idc if people say it SUCKS but it's hella valuable if you know what you're doing. Not just your typical board breaker but also can interrupt your opp and catch them off guard. DEFINITELY main it over side.
      I'd also recommend Pankratops as a well going second option to outing a card. Card can literally force your opponent's interruption once they see it happening. DRNM isn't good this format, as there's not a load of decks that ends with a front row of bajillion negates.

      @@kendrip6960 Those are some really good points bro. Im gonna do my best to address each one, because I think what you're saying is very important:
      - Grave Squirmer: I agree. Grave Squirmer is very useful, and two is probably better. I played two at first but took one out for more hand traps. I'll probably add back the second copy. Its probably your best extender.
      - Phantom of Yubel: I mentioned in the video that two is probably correct, but while testing I always found 3 useful since you can summon it multiple times each turn, but youre right 2 is probably the more correct ratio, as it gives you slightly more extra deck flexibility.
      - Super Poly: I did say that ones going to be controversial lmaoo. Trust me bro i dont think it sucks, but I think hand traps are better this format than board breakers. I actually took it out for Ghost Belle, since Ghost Belle protects your GY, which is important, and also disrupts your opponent. Super Poly is a big minus, and conflicts with Phantom of Yubel, as it cant be used as fusion material. Meaning if you go first, you MUST end on Yubel or Spirit of Yubel to take full advantage of Super Poly, which is suboptimal, because you want to use your Yubel + Spirit of Yubel to XYZ/Link Summon. The only "Yubel" you actually end on is Phantom of Yubel. HOWEVER, going second its extremely useful, which is why I dont think playing it main deck is bad. This is one of those things that depend on the Meta. I wouldnt be surprised if people Main Decked 1 or 2 Super Poly when it comes out in TCG.
      - Pankratops: Thats a good tech I didnt consider, but you just gave me the idea to play Fenrir in this Deck lol thank you. Also, DRNM is 50/50, you could play Talents or Nibiru instead

      @@kendrip6960i forgot about Piri Reis. My reasoning is you play 7 bricks that need other cards to work, but I see your point

    These guides are kind of useless if you’re trying to learn the deck, because they don’t show you what to do when your opponent hand traps you. All these guides just show you the perfect scenarios and never what you can do if shit hits the fan
