That thing with the perspex pipe made me exclaim to an empty living room - "This dude is a f#$%ing genius.". It's those little sparks of creativity and problem solving that separate folks like you. Thanks for these videos.
This video is brilliant on several levels. I just can't decide what has had the greatest impact on me... Is it that Santa himself works in the shop? (the elves must not be unionized) That he has the good fashion sense to wear a Cactus t-shirt? Or that you can feed a spinning holesaw into a spinning cylinder and end up with a sphere? Or maybe the sphere sanding jig that costs virtually nothing to build but saves many man hours of work. This guy is an effin' genius! Merry Christmas indeed - thank you, good Sir, for these gifts of the mind!
Coolest thing I've seen in quite a while. Hole saw on a lathe... never in a million years would I have thought of doing something like that. Fantastic work and the ornaments turned out so great!
the frankly surprising appearance of santa in this video was delightful, and the, "Don't worry, Santa, I can take it from here!" yelled into the empty air of a workshop made it 100x better
Good on ya mate, that was so unexpected I nearly choked on laughter. So much so, I had to show the missus what was so hilarious, she cracked up too at your Christmas enthusiasm, and commented on how cute the balls were. She then followed with, now you have to make me some darling.... Hope you have a fantastic Christmas too.
It has been a true joy watching each and every one of your videos this year. I look forward to more inovative ideas from Pask Makes in 2018. God bless you and your family, and may you have a joyous Christmas season. Steve
I wish I had seen this video a couple of months ago when I was making my Ladderball Game. I ended up buying spheres, but this would have been great. Definitely using this idea in the future!
Wow. Those are great. That Santa guy is pretty crafty. Ya know, you might be able to salvage those cutoffs for something. Maybe star ornaments? Anyway, Merry Christmas to you and yours!
Hello, great! The balls are perfect and look very nice. That was a great idea with the cordless screwdriver. I too would like to wish you and your family a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Good health and lots of nice projects! Thanks for the many tips and inspirations. Greetings from Germany sends Martin 😀👍👍👍

Hi Pask 50 years ago I used a sharpened steel pipe to do the same thing, jumping into the 21st century is great I'll give it a try soon.
the frankly surprising appearance of santa in this video was delightful, and the, "Don't worry, Santa, I can take it from here!" yelled into the empty air of a workshop made it 100x better

Awesome! Thanks for showing the technique and the rigging the drill and the sphere holding device for sanding.

Anyway, Merry Christmas to you and yours!
I'm guessing he could flatten them and glue them up to make another cylinder with offset pattern. That would make for some interesting ornaments :)
