We've always told our children and grandchildren never touch a service animal or a working animal you could endanger the animals, handlers and yourself. Please remember respect the animal and the people handling them.

@@dolliemaesone In our younger years we bred and trained German Shepards for the blind and hearing impaired 25 year's so our kid's grew up being involved with training at a young age.
Nevertheless, visitors to Horse Guards are allowed to touch, stroke or pat the horses.
It's such a pity there is no respect for anything these days.
They should put a chain barrier around so these silly people can keep their distance. This is not a carnival ir a circus

There must be signs for legal purposes. I agree let the horses bite even if they hurt, how about a mark around and infront of th horse? Those guards are disciplined.
The person and your guide should be fined and banned.
Some people look so astonished, that a guard in uniform, should interfere with THEIR photo. The guard missed those 2 idiots holding onto the horses bridle. WHY can't the people, leave the working guards alone, when the guards are having a conversation? There are signs on the ground for cycling/buses/crosswalks. The counsel should be deluged with posts of NO annoying the horses/guards within the painted area, in front of the inside width of the boxes. I ❤❤ love how appropriate, guards helmets, have actual horse hair plumes.

I saw The Princess Elizabeth classic yesterday between the Blues and Royals Trooper Jeffery with His Trooper Monty won it for the Blues ! So much fuss in the prep area they all Riders and horses looked magnificent even some big name judges ! I was very impressed
He was on Shackleton not Monty .
I don’t understand why some guards allow the people to hold the reins. He clearly saw both of them holding the horse since he pulled the reins from the guy’s hand the first time he grabbed the reins. Makes no sense.
