Never amazes me, how Ford Manufacturing still wants to put Rivets in parts they know will face replacement at one time or another. You got lucky and had nuts on the track. Rivets for me and a pain in the royal buttocks!🤣🤣

great vids... would you guys happen to know if the wiring harnesses pulls out of the door or is there a disconnect spot. I am changing out the right side door on a 2003 ford explorer-
My 2001 is the same color. Liked the video, was just curious. I did not know if the driver side window was the front or the far rear one, my fra rear window is suppose to open/close via a button on the roof above the mirror and the right one works fine not my left one. So I don't know if ea have a separate fuse, the wires are loose or disconnected from the toggle switch or the rear window motor is bad or wiring there is bad. Let me know when you get the same problem to solve. Also my key entry on the rear hatch door fell out and the cables (two) went bad, instead of buying the expensive replacements at Ford Motor Company I used two zip ties and secured the bad cables back after removing the broken plastic ends. I was unable to find in a aftermarket store any cable replacements or those aluminum end repair kits, they also did not sell bicycle brake caliper adjusters which also works. Mine works now.
This is a vent window that cannot be manually opened or closed, I find no videos on this window repair. The A/C & its coil/blower is just below the window which supplies air to the rear & ceiling of the vehicle (possibly a switch problem). I added refrigerant to the system (Low Side behind a removable plate at the firewall very difficult to attach & remove the hose from) so it is colder but usage burns more fuel (I could add another small can to the system), rated at 12mpg city 17mpg hwy since this is a 4x4 AWD without a 2x2 option having only two more choices as High or Low AWD. I got the Cruise Control to work again by adding a pressure switch a $18.00 fix. The Rear Door hatchback cable ends were broken so instead of paying more than a hundred dollars so I simply used two zip ties to resecure the cables to the mechanisms and that was almost a free fix since I already had zip ties in by tool box. Ford never changed the design so the same plastic ends are on their replacement cables which would become a problem in the future, why Ford does not sell the aluminum cable-end repair kit I'll never know. I found out from a Walmart Auto Mechanic that Walmart does sell, can make another owner key and program all for just $60, not what Ford sells them for - Key $39,95 plus programming cut key is $69.95. Problems are all resolved for now, good luck with your 2001 vehicle.
Not sure you realized it or not, but people watch these videos to see what and how to take things apart to fix what's broke. I had high hopes in not having to watch several videos on how to do something.

@ARTURO VALLEJO I believe there is a clip that holds the window. Reinstall with some RTV or silicone to keep in place.
