After my first real NERF event I invested heavily into carrying a TON of mags...but then my loadout got lighter...and lighter...and lighter. Now I just run a JPC style vest with Qore plates (aka, water held where armor plates would be) and either three mags on the the front or a hammershot holster plus a belt and a dump pouch. SENC events go all day so the ability to carry over three liters of water comfortably and with virtually zero impact to my profile is sooooo good. I can run/roll/jump as much as a I like with no real worries. That said, I may strip down even further for our next 5v5 event. No need for even the water at that point. Honestly I hit those Quickflag rounds with just a fully loaded Artemis and some loose HIRs so my teammates can spam more ammo. Great vid Jangular, keep'em coming. More people need to realize loadouts aren't just about carrying "more."
I like loadout-and-why vids, keep em coming. A fresh way of thinking on loadouts is always welcome. I haven't found my perfect loadout yet so new ideas and insights can really help here. I'm always conflicted between ease of use and access speed (which means carry stuff on your front and hips) and ease of carry and mobility (which would have you put your stuff on your back) Horizontal mags is a nice idea, I'll try it and see how I like it
Excellent video. While I've always enjoyed your loadout vids, I particularly enjoy the "why" explanation. I like that lightweight "rear mounted" loadout. As a guy who already has a bit of mass on my front half, that looks like an attractive option, especially as it allows full range of motion. Keep bringing the good content, man. We sure appreciate it.
That loadout seems pretty similar to something that would fit me, except the fact that it is lower back based. If I were to try to roll while wearing this, I would probably get hurt. Especially with a side roll (where you drop one leg quickly and kind of let momentum and gravity do the rest. You need to be low to the ground for it to be effective),
I use CBRN themed Skirmisher loadout, with a Stryfle MK III, A Kronos, an Airsoft plate carrier with foam plates, and 2 bracers with a compass, Geiger Counter, and a clock
Nice to see that back panel has actually worked out. It looks like a damn good loadout for what you need it for I expect it will serve you well in those 5V5 games. Love the video style its nice to hear alittle more about why you did things the way you did them rather than just a brief overview of it kudos on putting in the effort to practice your reloads with that setup too.
I love all your loadout videos. You do a great job on them. Keep up the great work. I don't think I would change anything on this loadout for the game style you are playing.
Fantastic video. Love seeing content related to game play and loadouts! Btw, the audio/visual quality and delivery is top notch! Keep up the great work!
a person your size is best utilized as a fast skirmisher so this looks awesome. i would still have kept them on my chest in the same mag amounts maybe off center on an LBV or a chest panel but the only thing i dislike is the placement of that EMT pouch. only because the zipper actively gets impeded by the mag holders. it doesnt look like its in any way readily accessible if being pressed and need to use it. as for my own loadout similarly, i dont know if i could make a kit that held low enough ammo amounts for dart limits. right now, i use a select fire stryfe with worker 22s. i run seven mags for the stryfe and my sidearm is a dessert pigeon with 5 mags for it. my current loadout holds 199 loaded darts and i typically think of it as a medium infantry kit (if youve seen captain xavier's auxiliary videos) so a 5v5 i wouldn;t qualify for.
Yey I’m super late ik you prob you won’t read this but.... I really love your videos! I’m planning to get into nerf more because of your videos keep it up!!!
Thanks, and hopefully I'll have footage of this in use along with a more traditional loadout video for those that don't want to listen to me talk theory lol. Also looking forward to seeing the footage from your event this weekend!
Sounds good! Yeah I am done in! Mall on Saturday night and I organised a Speedball afternoon yesterday for those who had travelled to Scotland from USA, Denmark and England. It's ben a hell of a weekend - footage and pics to come!
I remember seeing Rob from MNW at a Melbourne war and I saw his chest rig and I was like "yep chest rig like that", bought a cheap chest rig and then I found out I like belt rigs more and now I have a sick mazo factory belt setup
Jangular where are you based, as in what country do you nerf in? Just wondering cause if you are in England you should come to our weekly nerf games i host in the town I live in and it would be great if you could come to one of our games.
Hey jangular, I was thinking of running a similar setup myself, but I'm not sure which way I want to pull my magazines. I was debating between downward and sideways, but also thought of an angled pull. I can't decide, could you help me? Thanks. (Also, Hi from Canada)
+Josiah Calderon if they're on your back I'd likely recommend against downward and downward angled, it creates and odd motion for your arm. Angled up however might work. I've used angled before on my front and it can be nice, I recommend holding a mag in place with your hand at the angle and location you're thinking about then going through the grabbing motion and seeing how natural and comfortable it feels.
Hey there.. love your loadout!! I’m running something similar to yours actually for 5v5 aka quickflag (credits to hack.exe). I got the dye paintball harness and each compartment fits two katana mags.

I'm glad you enjoyed it, and I hope you find the right balance for yourself in what you want to run!

Thank you, definitely glad people are seeming to enjoy the format so far! I really am liking the back mounting so far, worth a shot I'd say!
I really appreciate how much thought you put into this video and it is really cool to see unique content like this. Great work as always!
Thanks for watching, and I'm glad you enjoyed it!
Links to the molle patch please?

Definitely glad it seems to be working as well! Glad you enjoyed the format as well :)
This is almost exactly like my personal loadout
I love both styles of videos as both kinda get my noggin joggin i love these Loudout videos

Thank you, glad it was enjoyable!
nice to have reasons to why do it, makes me think about how i play and what loadout i actually need
Glad it got you thinking about your loadout!
This video has zero dislikes? Wow!
But seriously, I like how unconventional, yet effective this loadout looks
Fingers crossed it actually works on the field the way it does in my head haha!

Definitely check your measurements for that belt. I got the medium first and it was an inch too big and overlapping it doesn't really work
Wouldn't be the most surprising thing if Condor didn't have the best tolerances for their gear and have some variation.
Can you link the stuff please??
All you need is a sweater and you could fit about 5 mags depending what mag it is
Down with the dump pouchiarchy!
Awesome video as always. Lot's of great ideas! Would be good to see you using this in a game so we can see your ideas in practice.
Thanks, and hopefully I'll have footage of this in use along with a more traditional loadout video for those that don't want to listen to me talk theory lol. Also looking forward to seeing the footage from your event this weekend!

how did you get the mag holder on the front to go sideways? I am trying to do the same thing on my condor gen II battle belt.
Sorry I now see that there are single sideways mounts. If only they made them with doublestacks!
Lego Boss I'm pretty sure they do
I remember seeing Rob from MNW at a Melbourne war and I saw his chest rig and I was like "yep chest rig like that", bought a cheap chest rig and then I found out I like belt rigs more and now I have a sick mazo factory belt setup
6:34 that mag ejection tho
Yeah that mag didn't want to come out lol.
Excellent video do more like theses
Planning on it!
Very helpful, thanks.
Love the fast loadouts, but I prefer a more passive suppressive fire play style with my Nemesis. Someone's gotta defend.
I don't disagree, gotta have that team balance!
Another great vid😄
Thank you for watching!

Are you on britnerf? If not come check out the premier nerf forum!
sewwes12 I am not as of yet but I will defiantly check it out
I'm in the US, while I'd like to come nerf at some events over there at some point, that likely won't be for awhile.
Jang, how do you like the clear pmag?
I've been digging it so far!
Jangular It would look good with the clear prophecy or a clear recon.
Heh heh. He said doo dee
This is exactly what I need

Nice! I hope it's working well for you!
I would use a double drop leg
Definitely gets the bulk off your body, but be careful about it tiring your legs out if you run a lot.
Oh yeah yeah
Step 1: buy nerf jolt
Step 2: put darts in pocket
Step 3: ???
Step 4: profit
Seems legit.
I just use a bomb squad vest, but good video tho.
Nothing wrong with that :)
Jangular you never know if someone misplaced their nerf blasters with a firearm
Cool
Thanks for watching.
Dam no dislikes
Send me some Nerf Klipsch
He has the same hands as my mom
Well thank you lol
No hurt feelings
