All I did was remove that monster rear license and white plate light. Underneath was the perfect smaller, stronger piece ready to go. I even used the stock turn signals and drill a mounting hole away from the exhaust and plug everything back together. Didnt cost a cent and achieved the exact same thing. I do like the flush mount signals and if need be i'll mount em up. They hidden section underneath allows a perfect location for those signals. cheers.
i watched the whole video for the info at 6:54.. been wondering how i was going to get that plug through that tight spot thanks for doing this video.. i think your is the only one..
Great video, includes little tips on the install and lots of detail which I like, this will help a bunch of people wanting to install the sicass tail tidy on their bikes. Fantastic job mate, thanks for taking the time to do this video and keep up the good work 🙏🏼👍🏼
I did that mod several years ago and recently had to put all the OEM equipment back on to get through our Motor Vehicle Department for inspection. Once I passed I put all the Sicass equipment back on. Good for 2 more years. Hopefully your state doesn't make ya jump through hoops. The inspector did bust my balls and say my stock turn signals (front & rear) were too small but let me slide. Let's Go Brandon!
Any idea on rough torque? I just put them on yesterday on an uneven surface and feel that tightening the screws more would allow the rubber to conform better to the surface, but then I don't want to destroy the brass inlets...
I just made it snug and secure. Eventually I just didn’t even put those two on. I took off the setup when I rode on the Mx track and put it back on after
@@alexkellum1 so the two screws holding the rear fender to the metal battery part. You have your batteries metal wire drilled to the metal base, mine goes through those screws above. If that makes sense? So it would be plastic. The oem fender had metal threads, the sicass doesn't.
@@alexkellum1 they dont make a aftermarket fender kit for the 2020 ktm excf taco moto is comming out with one in oct they said i been looking for a grab handle and just found one at amoco they got those that's the problem with buying brand new I gess u got to wait for some stuff I got everything else👍

Question, my screws holding the battery to the plastic and fender are just not holding. What should I do?
larisagnia hey there! Are these screws going into plastic or are these machined screws going into a threaded nutsert?
