also I hope you get some answers from your results! I didn't get any new diagnoses from my sleep study but it was really helpful to rule things out, more on the chronic fatigue syndrome/lyme side of things now with treatment. I am not well rested unless I get like 10+hrs of sleep and even then im just barely making it through the day. Good luck with your results and have fun moving in for school! :)

Thank you so much for your support! Also the “goop” was gross! It was definitely not fun to get out😂. Yeah even if I don’t get any diagnoses, that narrows down what it could possibly be. I hope you can find success treatment soon💛

I've had similar sleep and fatigue issues for a few years. One thing which helped was a particular antidepressant - it puts me to sleep, helps me sleep through the night and then keeps me awake more during the day (but it's not perfect and comes with other side effects).
I hope you're able to find answers and something to help your symptoms.

Something I didn't expect was how sticky the "goop" was for the electrodes they stick to your head, mine were really really stuck in my hair the next morning. I spent about 20-30 minutes in the shower at the hospital trying to get the goop out of my hair and I lowkey thought I was going to have to cut my hair with scissors to leave. I would suggest bringing your own shampoo so you can use a lot of it to get the electrode goop off, totally unexpected in my experience. Also when I did my test the fire alarm went off at night lol.

I have always had really bad insomnia, and I could never nap or really sleep for more than an hour or so at a time. Now I’m on meds (antipsychotics, along with a bunch of other stuff) that make me sleep through the night, but they also drain my energy all day. I take lots of naps. Sometimes I feel like I’m sleeping my life away.
