Hi Rory, I also played this in the streets of Perth in Nov 1972 when I was 14. The trumpeter in this video was female and I think both females and younger players bring a much needed softening to the heroic military and machismo style adult men feel habitually compelled to deliver it in. Even beyond that this rendition is a much better artistic performance than any I have ever heard. I hope this has encouraged and inspired you to continue to pursue your musical talents.

i was looking for a recording of the last post and reveille for my brother's funeral - he was ex 1RHA so i wanted trumpet rather than bugle. may i use your recording?
Hi Paul, The tune is not copyright, and it was originally played in a place where the public are invited to attend without charge, so I fail to see how anyone could object to its recording and reuse. Any recording on RUclips is freely available under their Creative Commons license terms. I hope that helps.
I'm 16 years old and I just performed this at my local rsl, and there were Men weeping, such a moving piece
